We have a beautiful hotel in Gainsborough, with gardens at the front and back of the hotel and a small pond to give you a unique experience and stunning wedding pictures! All our catering is freshly cooked on site, our chef holds over 30 years experience and we are able to cater to any requirements. We have a beautiful marquee in our gardens where we hold our weddings, and your party will have the exclusive use of the area. We are a family run business so we pride ourselves in providing the best service possible from the time of the booking until the big day. You will always have a wedding coordinator available to answer any questions or make any amendments. With only 10 bedrooms in our property we have the advantage of providing you with an intimate experience for your dream day for your and all you family and friends. We are very centrally located in Gainsborough, with easy access to the property and plenty of car parking. We look forward to hosting your big day at our hotel!

Such a pleasure attending this wedding

Outstanding Wedding Day

We’ve been to the Hickman Hill to attend our son’s wedding and it was such a beautiful wedding. Watching our son getting married to his stunning bride in such a lovely place made us so happy. The service was above and beyond expectations and the food served was so good everyone complimented it. We had a lovely bedroom on the ground floor for after the party to stay overnight and we had a lovely night sleep. Would definitely recommend the Hickman Hill.

I was bridesmaid to my best friends wedding at the Hickman Hill, and I can honestly say it was the most beautiful wedding I’ve ever attended. The venue was gorgeous and the decoration was so elegant and I could tell it was exactly what my friend has always dreamt off. We girls had a stunning room to get ready in the morning before the official ceremony, and when we came back for the reception we had the most delicious lunch served . The afternoon was beautiful and sunny and the grounds made amazing pictures of everyone. The entertainment throughout the evening was great and the couple were so happy all the way though with everything. Staff were so nice and efficient. We’ve stayed overnight after the wedding and my bedroom was gorgeous , and the breakfast the next morning was fantastic. Would definitely recommend the Hickman Hill as an excellent venue.

We had a great day attending our friends wedding. It was a lovely sunny day. Venue is very nice and the couple looked stunning. So happy for them and wishing them all the best for their life as Mr and Mrs. We loved the whole reception party, the food was very good and the entertainment was brilliant.

Thank you for the best day ever!

We had our wedding day at the Hickman Hill and omg I don’t even know where to start .. from the day we went to visit the property, we fell in love with it on how different it is from your normal venues and the beautiful grounds would make the most perfect pictures! From there the booking process was so smooth and the communication during the whole year of preparation was great and the hotel was always so helpful. On the day of the wedding everything was beautiful and just as we imagined. The marquee was dressed beautifully and the lunch and evening buffet were absolutely delicious. All our family and friends had a great time and all the staff were incredible. The bridal suite is to die for and such a comfortable bed. Thank you once again for making our dream day come true.

It was such a delight to see our nephew getting married to his beautiful bride at the Hickman Hill. The venue is just stunning, great service, and we can’t say enough about the food! The chef made a gorgeous spread and there were so many compliments on the meal. The staff were all just so friendly and provided an amazing service. The couple looked so happy from start to finish for having their dream day come true. We’ve stayed overnight after the party and the rooms are beautiful decorated and the bed is so comfortable. Would definitely recommend this venue to who is looking to have a wedding reception.
