With twinkling fairy lights, The Oak Barn is at the heart of every wedding at Abbey Farm Wedding with 300 year old craftsmanship bought into the modern day the oak is brought to life and adds an amazingly romantic and heart warming rustic atmosphere. The Old Granary Barn has been recently renovated to offer licensed ceremonies on site. St Leonard's Church is also situated on the farm and is within walking distance with some amazing photo options on the way! All this is Exclusively yours
On arrival our outdoor courtyard reception area, with a beautiful Oak framed porch, is perfect for your guests to be served Champagne and canapés.
You can then mingle in the sunshine with drinks in the gardens or warm up next to the log burner in the Winter months – all with magnificent views of Kirkstead Abbey Ruin. Character and charm sum up the interior of both the Oak framed barn and The Bar which are beautiful buildings. With candles on the tables, our twinkling fairy lights and your own wedding décor, an amazing atmosphere is created and with 200+ evening guests – you will have a great party too!
A wedding at Abbey Farm is what you want to make it! We work with you to make your bespoke wedding day come to life and actually happen! Our unique and delightful countryside venue is yours for the day and is one of a select few "exclusive use" venues in the Country. The Abbey Ruin will be floodlit in honour of your wedding day!

The best venue to work at!
Millie and Jo have always been so accommodating of my VW Photo Booth, and always move mountains whenever I’m at Abbey Farm. The venue is truly stunning, and so versatile to meet a couple’s needs. They have so many wonderful recommended suppliers (ourselves included), who always make the place look utterly gorgeous.
If you want a wedding to remember, which is stress free and utterly beautiful, (and award winning!!) definitely book Abbey Farm Weddings!

The best day ever!
Abbey Farm is the most beautiful venue and Jo, Millie and the team are exceptional at what they do. From the initial viewing to the wine tasting, to the finer details, to the rehearsal and of course the day itself, they managed to make us feel completely at ease and ensured we had the most fantastic day. The Perfect Venue
Abbey Farm was the perfect venue for our wedding. Millie and Jo are absolutely lovely and were super helpful with all of our questions and offering recommendations. We really appreciated how responsive both Millie & Jo were to emails as it made the wedding planning process a lot easier! The help from the team carried on from the moment we first contacted them until the wedding day itself when they kept everything running to time and Millie even saved my dress with a safety pin(!).

What an amazing day and what an amazing team!
Millie, Jo and the team were just amazing. We couldn’t ask for more from them. When we went to look at the venue we knew straight away that it was the perfect place. Everything else fell into place just perfectly, organising a wedding from overseas is difficult Millie was always on hand to help out with anything she could, from speaking to our caterer and recommending people when others let us down. The day was truly amazing and everything went perfectly the team on site were incredibly friendly and always had smiles on their faces, and all of our guests were looked after so well by the team! There could be no other score other than a huge 5 out of 5 for these guys.

We love the Oak Barn and the Old Granary Barn which we have built as a labour of love - it really is beautiful! As far as we know the mud and stud building of the Oak Barn is the first of its kind for over 300 years.
