Our most popular packages are for 60 day guests and 80 evening guests, with exclusive use of the Harrington Suite and landscaped gardens.
Included is civil ceremony room hire, Prosecco for your guests after the ceremony, a delicious three course wedding breakfast, wine with the meal and fizz for the toast, evening buffet, dance floor and our resident DJ. Also included is a wedding coordinator and master of ceremonies, and a full decorations package of your choice. We have little big day packages for more intimate ceremonies and celebrations, and can tailor make a bespoke wedding for you.

A picturesque, historic hotel in a perfect location in West Yorkshire nestled in the Spenbourgh valley and set within stunning landscaped gardens and grounds. The 250 year old grade II listed former mansion house has been with the same family for over 40 years, and is a cherished and beloved hotel and wedding venue. Healds Hall is a perfect mix of the traditional with a modern twist and boasts some wonderful and quirky features.
We only host one wedding a day, so you can enjoy the luxurious interior and wonderful gardens, with your family and friends.
Whether you choose to have your ceremony here in our Harrington Suite or lawned gardens, or just your wedding breakfast and evening celebration after a service elsewhere, your dedicated wedding coordinator will be on hand all day to guide you. We pride ourselves in looking after all the little details so you can relax and enjoy yourselves.
Our award winning kitchen produces delicious, seasonal meals from local suppliers, so you can rest assured everyone will be well fed!
And with 24 tastefully decorated bedrooms, including our bridal suite, you and your guests can enjoy a relaxing stay.
We offer a bespoke service, alongside a range of packages, so there will be something to suit you.

I dont think I have ever attended a wedding where everything has gone as smoothly as it did yesterday.

Best wedding day ever!
Couldn’t be happier that we had our wedding at Healds Hall Hotel!
We were due to get married in 2020 but covid meant that wasn’t possible. 4 attempts later and we finally tied the knot in June 2023.
Matt was amazing throughout the planning and also on the actual wedding day. Nothing was too much for him and the team.
Would definitely recommend this venue.

Perfect wedding!
We had the perfect day, we would highly recommend Healds Hall to anyone who is looking to book their wedding venue. It has recently been renovated to a really high standard with some quirky features which we loved. All our guests said how beautiful the venue is and how friendly and helpful the staff were.

The most amazing wedding just perfect
The staff at Healds hall were amazing and made my daughter and son in laws day absolutely amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. Thankyou especially to the wedding coordinator he did not stop and everything went so smoothly.

Exceptional service from start to finish!
We booked Healds Hall after encountering an issue at a previous venue both myself and my husband are Vegans and the previous venue struggled to cater to this in the end which left us without a venue and a little worried about finding somewhere but we found Healds Hall and were reassured from Day 1.
Matthew and the team took such great care with us and the chef worked with us to create a tailor made Vegan meal not just for us but every single one of our guests! Starters, main course, Dessert and we opted for Canapés too it was all delicious and our guests also commented on how much they enjoyed a vegan meal. The effort they made with this was greatly appreciated and meant we knew we could eat anything served to us on our wedding day without having to double check first which just made the day so much more simple for us!
Their recommendations for suppliers were fab, the room looked beautiful and I even stayed the night before with my bridesmaids and family and we all had a lovely meal together the evening before. Their rooms on the lower level were great for guests who struggled with the stairs too.
I also arranged a couple of surprises for the groom which Healds hall were more than happy to help with and had breakfast to the room the morning of the wedding.
We had the most amazing wedding day and we are so glad we booked at Healds Hall. We have enjoyed many a meal and drink there too and highly recommend them to anyone considering booking them for an event, they truly go above and beyond & we can’t thank the whole team enough!

That's too difficult to answer! There are those where you are laughing so much with the couple and you remember the fun, and those where the romance and love in the room is so beautiful you can't help be moved. All our couples mean so much to us, and every wedding is unique and special.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Try to plan in a moment for yourself and your new spouse after the ceremony, to just be the two of you on your own for 10 minutes and enjoy the wonderful new sensation of being married!
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
A couple shared a moment during a ceremony whereby two separately engraved glass jars of sand were dyed to each of the couples favourite colours. These poured by the couple and blended into one jar with both their names engraved symbolising a bond that could never be split.

Yes, quite a few! The Hairy Bikers and Ainsley Harriot have dined here, as has Gregg Wallace. Bryan McFadden has stayed the night, and Tony Robinson was a staff favourite.
What’s your favourite canapé?
Delicious home made mini Yorkshire puddings with locally reared beef- so moreish! Though I also love a classic smoked salmon bilinis...too difficult to choose one.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Anything from the sweet cart...fizzy cola bottles! Or our head chefs homemade brownies, so good.
What is Healds Hall Hotel most unique feature?
The historic staircase that leads up to the bridal suite- it's a grade II listed building and the stairs are really special- a perfect spot to take photos of the bride in her wedding dress.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
The relationships we form with our couples. From the moment they walk in the door to the day they leave as just marrieds, we love taking care of them and making their special day amazing. That and the food...delicious locally sourced and seasonal food!
