Grimsby Golf Club

From start to finish Steph was brilliant in helping us to organise and plan for the day including set up, organising food and answering any questions we had in the lead up and giving us professional advice. The staff were amazing and so professional throughout the day itself. Steph even let us borrow some mirrors to compliment our centre pieces to make them stand out even more which we were really happy with. The whole venue was perfect for us allowing us to have an intimate ceremony followed by a larger evening reception. The buffet was amazing with lots of positive comments from guests. We would definitely recommend the Grimsby Golf Club for weddings and events.

We cant Fault anything from our Day everything was perfect and we keep getting alot of our guests saying how good the buffet was. Thank you again for all your help with our Big Day

Stay away they ruined my £ 10 k dream wedding after ceremony we went outside there were at least 35 golfer's sat down One of my guests had forgoten what he ordered. He was told he ordered it so eat it and slammed the plate on the table.. she told me she has no idea how she was in charge of this wedding she dose not no what she is doing !!!!!!!!!! My guests over heard the inexperienced manager that she was sick of us, As early as 6pm. This woman stomped around my wedding with her arms crossed bossing my guests around. She grabbed a napkin of a childs head whom was playing bride made the child cry They rolled there eyes when people ordered drinks. My guests was told to move whilest smoking when there golf club members was smoking freely. It was my first question when I booked can my guests smoke as many do and I do not wont them to be uncomfortable to do so. The manager in charge of my wedding Called my husband a groomzila and tryed to pass it off as a joke its derogatory remark to make all he was doing was everything i asked him too as i become sick if overheated. Later on in the evening The staff shouted at my entertainment for been late and kicked him out of where he was getting ready instead of being showen in a suitable place to change. He told me he had never been spoken to like that in his whole career he was a brittains got talent contender I felt so bad I payed him an extra £ 50 in the way of an apology I was mortified!!!!!!! They told the children off for stepping on flowers And at the end of the night at my massive fireworks display that i payed £2000 pounds for All i can hear is the staff complaining about the mess And when i go over to ask what is wrong. I THE BRIDE WAS ESCORTED BEHIND THE BAR AND TOLD THIS PLACE IS A MESS AND IT IS A RESPECTABLE GOLF CLUB FATHERS DAY TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Not by any manager a member of staff. Even though 3 hours earlier they was asked to join in the fun and used the adult castles had there face's painted Use magic photo mirror And ate the canny floss and popcorn. That they advertised and gave me the card for in the first place I IMMEDIATELY ASKED MY FAMILY TO LEAVE at 11.30 even though I payed the venue till 12pm. And picked up the rubbish And dumped it on the bar And left in tears. I was told by the golf club to come the next day at 3pm to discuss my concerns. No one was there to greet me I rang multiple time no answer. I emailed no answer weeks later and when they finally responded lets just say the after care was just as good as the service !!!!!!!!!!!

Had our wedding reception here on Saturday.. a massive Thankyou to steph and her team…excellent service - excellent food- no complaints from any of our guests … couldn’t have wished for a better place to have the reception… Highly recommend ❤️
