Situated in the heart of the Ribble Valley, located only minutes away from the picturesque and historic town of Whalley, Lancashire, Foxfields Country Hotel is nestled within 9 acres of beautiful landscaped gardens. Weddings at Foxfields are held throughout the year, In winter weddings at Foxfields are truly magical and in summer our grounds and gardens, the exquisite licensed gazebo and fantastic views, form a stunning backdrop to the celebrations. This country hotel, has recently seen the opening of their exciting new restaurant, Artisan Ribble Valley, which aims to be one of Lancashire’s most attractive restaurants. The choice of reception rooms offered range from an intimate wedding of 20 guests, up to the Pendle Suite which can accommodate up to 200. There are 44 bedrooms, including 24 spacious suites, which are available under a special rate to resident wedding guests, who also have full use of the pool, sauna and steam room.

The best day ever.

Sarah and the team at Foxfields Country Hotel went out of their way to make our day as special as possible. It was such a dream and all the guests were blown away with how beautiful the venue is.

Had the pleasure of an overnight stay recently, the hotel is in a scenic area with easy access to Whalley and Clitheroe. A warm welcome by staff and the room was very spacious warm and comfortable with a living area and bathroom with bath and walk in shower. The Artisan restaurant was amazing with a really good atmosphere and efficient friendly staff. The buffet breakfast was fresh, varied and plentiful. Overall a beautiful tastefully decorated hotel which was a pleasure to stay in. Five stars from me.

Would highly recommend for a large function, an overnight stay or a meal in Artisan. David and his team are wonderful to deal with, so attentive, understanding and want everything to go perfect for you. Nothing was too much to ask. When arranging a Christmas function, it was clear of their passion and experience to deliver a a fantastic party for all. The feedback from all guests was brilliant with people saying ‘we must have it there again’. Artisan has a lovely atmosphere whether you want a lunch, afternoon tea or evening meal and drinks. It is a short taxi ride to Whalley for the nightlife too. Read less

I don’t often leave reviews about Hotels as they are generally much of a muchness but felt I had to here - smashing ‘Independent’ Hotel We have just had our Christmas Party here - and we couldn’t have been treated better Room set up was brilliantly - we had 200 people and the they worked all afternoon to give it that ‘extra’ Christmas Feel Staff were brilliant - each and every one of them - engaging polite, knowledgable, and always happy to help — special shout out for Ella - I was early for breakfast - but it was no issue - between her and Chef they sorted me the best full breakfast I have had in a long time. Would recommend - if only for the ‘feelgood’ staff alone..

Foxfields! What can we say but simply thank you. From start to finish you kept us in the loop and helped us along the way. Whether emails or in person visits you put our minds at ease! From the staff to the facilities everything we asked you delivered on. From breakfast the morning of the wedding to saying goodbye the evening of becoming Mr and Mrs Carter you made us feel extra special. Thank you to Sarah who kept us calm an made me feel amazing the morning of the wedding. Also to David who originally took our booking. We couldn't be more thankful for making our day as special as it was and run as smoothly as it did! Absolutely fantastic day

From the very start to the day in question, Froxfields delivered in all areas. My partner and I arranged to have a look around Foxfields, the venue was perfect and the staff were so helpful and took their time to show us around and answered all of our questions. Every step of the way any questions/concerns we had, the staff at foxfields answered them and helped to make arrangements to deal with them. Our wedding itself was an autumn wedding, my partner made all the table decorations and wedding party flowers herself. The staff at Foxfields set the tables and decorations exactly to our requirements which made the day even more relaxed and enjoyable. The Master of Ceremonies was fantastic, the food was amazingly good. I can not praise the management team or staff enough for making the whole day everything we wanted.
