Bashall Barn

From the moment we first viewed the venue we fell in love with it. A fantastically designed wedding venue that opens up like the TARDIS! We loved the gorgeous views offered from the balcony and the beautiful outdoor area, where we particularly wanted to get married. We enjoyed the very relaxed style of the management team - no request was too big for them - even accommodating a couple of alpacas! Our wedding manager Lucy was an absolute joy and delight to work with. She accommodated all our requests and ran everything incredibly smoothly on the day. We loved the accessibility of the venue - everything is on one level, so perfectly accessible for wheelchair users. And then there was the food…!! It can only be described as outstanding! Everything from the canapes to the main course and evening pizzas were delicious and commented on by all our guests. A special feature offered by Bashall is the breakfast the morning after the wedding. We were delighted that all our relatives could join us in the morning for a full English before everyone headed off on their way. It was a perfect end to the wedding itself. Thank you to all the incredibly hard working staff on our day, it simply couldn’t have been better. If you are looking for a wedding venue, then look no further! We couldn’t recommend Bashall Barn enough!

Unfortunately we felt like once they had our final payment they didn’t care. From the moment we arrived the day before we didn’t really feel welcome, I brought my cake in and asked if someone could pop it into a fridge we had traveled over an hour and it was starting to melt slightly the cake sat on the bar for another hour I then had to ask again to please put it in a fridge, the bridal suite really could of done with a better clean dead flies around, batteries in the tv remotes would of been great too. One of the beds had no fitted sheet on it only a mattress protector, unfortunately everyone had left by the time we noticed this. Too many chairs were put out for our ceremony and unfortunately now we have empty chairs in our wedding photos. We had one person that couldn’t come I had told my wedding manger this but unfortunately his name place and chair was still put out for the wedding breakfast. Was really looking forward to some nice pictures at the wedding breakfast with the lovely sign Forever & Always behind us but on the day there was no sign, very disappointing wish someone would have told us this sooner. We had a wedding arch in the ceremony room that was never moved to the wedding breakfast room. We would have loved the pizza in our room after our evening reception that we were promised too. After speaking to my husband he said they was abruptly kicked out of the grooms den so they could clean it this left him extremely flustered before saying our I dos, running to cars to put clothing in there because everything had to be out! I find this disgusting. Definitely a lack of communication on the wedding mangers part. We feel let down and upset after spending £11,000.

From start to finish, the lead up to the wedding and the big day the staff at Bashall were amazing, especially Lucy, our wedding Co-ordinator! We had a couple of meetings at Bashall with Lucy before the wedding and she was really great at communicating , answering all our questions and making sure we were had all the info we needed. On the wedding day Lucy, Leanne and the team were absolutely brilliant. We had an outdoor ceremony, and our first dance was on the balcony. Checkin to the bridal suite the day before was really smooth and Lucy helped us get all our supplies in the right place ready for the morning as we didn’t have a wedding stylist and did most things ourselves. Bashall were amazing at putting all of our little bits of decor out while we got ready. The breakfast in the morning for us and our mums was fantastic - best cinnamon swirls ever! All our guests commented on how lovely the wedding breakfast meal and evening food was too. The day was just so perfect and we are really grateful the Bashall team who made it all run so smoothly!

Our wedding at Bashall Barn was an absolute dream come true! From the moment we toured the venue, we knew it was the perfect place for our special day. The stunning scenery provided the ideal backdrop for our ceremony and photos. The staff were exceptional—professional, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure everything was perfect. The food was exquisite, with many of our guests raving about the menu. Our wedding day was unforgettable, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. Highly recommend this venue for any couple looking to create magical memories!

Glad I decided to get married at church then onto Bashall barn as I was let down week before my wedding I was ignored and never replied to somethings where missed! My wedding planner turned up midday! Really let down when I told Bashall barn they never bothered to reply and when I asked for feedback form never had a response! Very disappointing special we the amount of money weddings cost!!! Suppose to be the best day of our lives!

From booking our wedding we had amazing communication with the team at Bashall, they answered all questions promptly and helped us create the most perfect day! We didn’t worry about a thing on the day as Lucy had it all under control and coordinated the timings etc perfectly. We can’t recommend you enough! Thank you - Mr and Mrs Mc xxx

The team at Bashall were amazing when we were organising our wedding and on the day itself. No request was too much trouble, the food was gorgeous, the rooms and the accommodation lovely, and all of the staff were absolutely lovely and executed our vision perfectly. They clearly all really know what they’re doing! The venue itself is absolutely perfect for a wedding - so many of our guests commented on how it’s clear how much thought has gone into designing it and it blew people away how more rooms just kept appearing! Would highly recommend Bashall to anyone :)

From the moment we stepped foot in Bashall Barn we fell in love with the venue and it just got better from there. The team cannot do enough to make your day phenomenal and you genuinely feel like you matter. Having cancelled one wedding at another venue (Covid, 2020!) where we were made to feel like a cash cow, I cannot emphasise how amazing it was to have a team who genuinely cared about making our day perfect. The venue is beautiful but they also have preferred suppliers who make it even more incredible, the food was amazing and the gin bar went down a storm. I have a number of food intolerances but they catered to me (and others with additional requirements) easily AND deliciously! THE best venue with THE best team. I wish we could do it all again now. Very jealous of anyone who is yet to get married here!

We had the most perfect day and wouldn’t change a thing, the venue was stunning and accommodating when we decided last minute to move the ceremony outside as it was 27 degrees that day! The food was amazing, all the guests are still talking to me about how nice the food was! The people who set up the morning of the wedding, listened to exactly what I wanted it to be like and everything was perfect! Amazing day and venue!

Came for a family wedding. The views are unbelievable, the building is a beautiful place to have a wedding with a very rustic feel. The staff were lovely and smiley, with the only downside being how cold it was. The firepit outside brought a lovely relief from the cold and was kept stoked well past 11pm
