Dunston Hall Estate

We had our wedding here on the 29th December 2023 and it was simply perfect. The venue is beautiful and very reasonably priced compared to places that offer a similar experience. The Food is wonderful. Staff are incredible! They really made the whole experience. Oh And the bedding was to die for (it was the talk of breakfast the next morning), never had such a good nice sleep before!

We had our silver wedding anniversary here and it was magical. The Hall is amazing and the staff couldnt be more helpful. The best venue in Chesterfield by far

An absolutely magical day! On 27/08/23, I got married at Dunston Hall and it was just fantastic. When I first went to look around, I fell in love with the place - it really is stunning. The ceremony room is breathtaking and was further enhanced by ‘Lillies Bespoke Faux Flowers’. I guarantee you will not fail to fall in love with it. The Stable room which held the wedding breakfast is amazing, just so elegant and classy. The bedrooms are again just beautiful. The beds are extremely comfortable, the duvets and towels just so soft and fluffy. They really have thought of everything to ensure you have a perfect stay. A huge thank you to all the staff who made my day one I will never forget. Special thanks to Mark - as my day got closer, I was getting more nervous about how it would be. You were constantly reassuring me - you said it would be as perfect as it could be, and you were right. It was just perfect. Macauley - from first meeting you, you were warm, welcoming and so very helpful. You even went as far as a practice walk down the aisle :) and making sure my trail on my dress was perfect. Thank you! Anna - for your communication throughout, the emails too and fro to again ensure my day was all I wanted. Jordon - the food was spot on. Looked delicious and the taste matched. All the guests were full of compliments about the food. Thank you! Dunston Hall is a place you must go and visit when considering venues. I promise you will not be disappointed. I just wish I could do it all over again!

From the moment we had our first viewing at Dunston Hall only a couple of months ago, we were absolutely blown away… the hall itself is absolutely breathtaking, the grounds are stunning, the garden ceremony room is absolutely beautiful and the newly refurbished stables is an incredible space! We were welcomed by Macaulay, Claire and Anna, who were truly amazing ladies! Nothing was too much trouble, they understood our vision and delivered above and beyond our expectations. Mark was also absolutely fantastic, we met Mark on the day and he became a familiar friendly face for our family and friends throughout the day, helping make sure our day was perfect! So many of our guests commented on how lovely the staff are, words really don’t do them justice! The hardest part was actually saying goodbye to the members of staff, they became a huge part of our journey and our experience would not have been the same without them. We were also so impressed with food, and received amazing feedback from our guests regarding the wedding breakfast and evening BBQ. The portion sizes were so generous, they even offered more bread for the soup, more gravy for the roast beef, they really looked after each and every one of us and catered for dietary requirements incredibly well too! From start to finish, Dunston Hall was perfect, I am so pleased I came across them, they really did create the most memorable day for us and our family. Thank you SO much, from the bottom of our hearts we are truly so grateful for you all ❤️

Wow, we really could not have imagined a better place to get married. From our first viewing over 2 years ago, each time that we visited Dunston Hall, we fell more in love with the venue and couldn’t get over how stunning the Hall and its grounds are. From the minute we first arrived through the gates, Dunston Hall was the only place that we both just instantly loved when we were searching for our venue. It is truly a hidden gem and only 5 minutes from where we live, there really is nowhere else like it in the area. As our wedding was the first to be held in The Stables, we didn’t know what the completed space would look, even with under a month to go until our wedding date! However, having seen how beautifully the hall and ceremony room had been renovated, we were confident that The Stables would be finished to a high standard with a beautiful finish. Dunston Hall really did think about every little detail. The gardens are beautiful too! If only we weren't having too much fun that we could've got all the photos we had planned, as the photo spot opportunities are endless! Our guests commented on how amazing the venue was, noting the fact that there were so many areas, all exclusive to the one wedding. We knew we wanted to get married at Dunston Hall from our first visit, but the fact that this is an exclusive venue just added to that. We were able to have our own little wedding bubble for the whole weekend, with no worries of wedding crashers from other events taking place. The food was simply incredible and many of our guests have continued telling us so! Every meal we had from Friday to breakfast on Sunday was delicious. Our stay over the entire weekend was a dream. Each bedroom and ensuite is immaculate and they are all have their own unique design, it’s a shame you can’t sleep in them all at once! The venue really does speak for itself, but the staff are what make it all work. Due to changes in management over the 2 years, we didn’t have the smoothest of wedding planning journeys, but the potential of the venue kept us going. In the end, Claire made sure we got what we were promised. We cannot thank Mark, Macauley, Claire, Anna and the rest of the team enough for making our wedding weekend what it was. They went above and beyond to ensure our weekend was perfect- and it really was. Mark and Macauley, you made the last part of our wedding planning process as exciting as it should be, and kept us up to date with changes, always making sure that we were happy with the plans. Shout out to the lovely Georgie too, who sang during our wedding breakfast (amazing voice) and couldn’t do enough for us! Come Sunday afternoon when we were leaving the estate, we couldn't believe that it was all over and it was just as hard saying goodbye to the team as it was the venue. They really are an absolute dream team! I could go on about how wonderful this place is, but it’s starting to make me feel sad that we won’t be getting married here again. The memories of the best wedding weekend will have to do! Thank you so much Dunston Hall for making our dream wedding become our reality!
