The versatile venue is perfect for both traditional wedding celebrations and more informal exclusive house parties. The delightful hotel is licensed to hold civil ceremonies, allowing you and your guests to enjoy the whole day in the wonderful setting.
Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue; the hotel truly adheres to the old wedding tradition. The old Victorian house has been newly transformed and refurbished for you to borrow and marry in the stunning Blue Lounge.
The house is available for exclusive use, allowing your wedding party to enjoy an intimate and private celebration. The house also boasts 27 beautifully appointed, individually designed bedrooms to sleep you and your overnights guests, complete with a delicious breakfast in the morning.

We've had the privilege of hosting many beautiful weddings, each with its own unique charm. One particular celebration stands out for its warmth, joy, and the genuine connection between the couple and their guests.
The couple, a local pair deeply rooted in the community, had chosen our venue for its intimate setting and picturesque surroundings. Their wedding day was a perfect blend of tradition and modernity, filled with heartfelt moments and laughter. From the personalised vows to the lively garden party that followed, every detail reflected their personalities and love for one another.
The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the couple's first dance, a fast choreographed routine that had everyone captivated!

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
One of our most favoured personal touches we've hosted at a wedding was a couple who had created a custom cocktail inspired by their first date. The drink, a unique blend of flavors, was not only delicious but also served as a conversation starter, allowing guests to learn more about the couple's opening chapter.
This simple yet thoughtful gesture made the wedding truly memorable, adding a personal touch that delighted both the couple and their guests

This has to be our Beef and Yorkshire Pudding with Peppercorn Sauce! A huge crowd pleaser

What is Didsbury House Hotel most unique feature?
The hotel boasts a series of original period features, our favourite being the circa 1838 cornice in The Blue Lounge, with concealed integrated window shutters and a large bay window. Another house favourite is the original stain glass window as you ascend the main entrance staircase,
