Exclusive use of our beautiful oak barn and wedding garden. We will also reserve our beautiful orangery for the drinks reception should the weather not be on your side. The barn will be set as a blank canvas fir you to put your finishing touches to it. This includes white linen table cloths and napkins, cutlery, glassware and some fairy lights around the beams. You will also have access to advice from our events team throughout the planning process and on the day itself.

Congratulations on your engagement, and thank you for considering The Plough at Eaton for your special day! The Inn dates back to the 15th Century and was formerly a small farm and coaching inn. The gorgeous Oak Barn dates back to as long ago as the 13thCentury, and was transported from its home in the quiet Welsh hills to the village of Eaton in the late 20thCentury, where it was carefully restored to create a stunning wedding and events venue perfect for you. With an idyllic atmosphere, impeccable catering and the perfect mix of accommodation the Plough at Eaton offers you the perfect setting for your wedding with a difference. We can cater for both small and larger events, and can do anything to make your event as unique or traditional as you require. The medieval Oak Barn is a licensed venue to hold Civil Ceremony weddings for up to 85 guests. We can also accommodate up to 115 guests for your celebration in the Barn for your wedding breakfast. The Plough Inn has 17 en-suite bedrooms to offer to you and your guests, including double, twin and family rooms. Our Special Day made even more 'SPECIAL'
A perfect setting, the Barn was made to look beautiful (Black Lab events - Heaven Scent flowers - Sugared Thistle Cakes -Tom Brookes Band ) all contributing to the wonderful management of our day from Laurie and Gabriella. What a team they all are. Working hand in glove arranging the different elements of our day. The Wedding ceremony first - Laurie managing the whole thing - music, entrance of bridesmaids and Bride, all so relaxed and professionally done. Then changing the room for the Wedding Breakfast and speeches - Band set up for the live set during the meal. Again the management provided constant care and attention. Act three - change for the evening event and laying of the dance floor and lighting - DJ Rich Fluery setting up.. All done without any issues and ready for cutting the cake and our 'first dance' all perfectly smooth organisation. Some of our friends said it was the best wedding they have ever attended. The food (Roast Beef ) and wines were perfect for our Special Day. Being able to use the Orangery during these change over times was fantastic. That really adds to the occasion. We also had a barrel of real Ale on tap, a Barrel of iced beer(Italian) and Prosecco/PIMMS and soft drinks (organised by Laurie) all available during the Orangery change over times so the 'GUESTS' always felt they were at 'Our Wedding' , The accommodation - The Bridal Suite - is lovely. So too is breakfast the next day with all our family. In the end, the care and attention from Laurie and Gabriella, along with their recommendations and the wider team made our 'SPECIAL DAY' really 'SPECIAL'

Full of character & charm
We chose the Plough for our wedding and we can not recommend it highly enough. The staff are all truly amazing, very helpful, warm and friendly. Special mention to Gabriella who made sure the day was tailored to us and ensured the occasion was perfect. Compliments also to the chef's all ou guests loved the food, the quality was superb. The Plough Inn is a beautiful venue, full of character and charm. The accommodation is lovely, all our guests rooms were excellent in size and spotlessly clean, they also raved about the breakfast, especially with the service as they fed us all even though we got the timings wrong and turned up half an hour after breakfast had finished. Thank you again to everybody at the Plough, we will definitely be returning as will many of our guests

A great venue
We were married at The Plough Friday the 11th and we can only praise the team, Gabby was our main contact and helped us through from start to finish. The barn looked amazing, the twinkly lights, the set up was fantastic. Gabby put us in touch with some great contacts for the finer detail, chair covers, cake, disco etc.... (Flowers and chair covers by Ruth (Heaven Scent Floral), cake (Jo's Bespoke Cakes - and thanks ever so much for the additional drape / screening with twinkles), disco Darren (Staffs Discos), everyone working together seamlessly. We'd booked a surprise act - the best singing waiters, who were made very welcome by the home team, thanks for that, your kindness made a big difference to us. What was particularly great for me was how calm and careful Gabby and Caroline were throughout the event, they told me where I needed to be and what I needed to do, in such a lovely supportive way, hats off they were fabulous. Thank you both. I was extremely grateful that Gabby stayed with the event right up to the end, so good to have someone around to trust, she was a star! The canapes were sophisticated with a traditional twist, all very good, the main service was excellent, again, excellent food, beautifully presented. Room changes and tweaks managed with ease, no fuss, just done! Our dedicated bar / barman was great, he's got a calm relaxed style and very efficient with it, don't be perturbed by his mysterious relaxed face. Apologies I've not dropped more names, the whole team worked well and are a credit to The Plough. A great venue which will continue to be our local.

The venue was perfect
We had my mum and step-dads wedding here at the start of January and me and mum had the bridal suite to get changed it before hand it was so lovely. The staff were so helpful and worked really hard. The venue was perfect, it didn’t cost too much money for the venue either it was good for value. The food that they provided was 5* and the bar staff were lovely and chatty too. The rooms were good value and clean, breakfast was delicious in the morning. All of the staff waited until midnight to move all of the wedding stuff into another room for us to just grab and load into the car the next morning which was extremely helpful! Was a lovely day thank you for helping make it more special!
