Full Description
Declaring your love in front of family and friends is big stuff; whether you choose an old fashioned wedding or modern civil partnership is up to you - we can make it natural or funky, eco-chic or country. You might be drawn to a vision of a fairy glade; where you exchange your vows by woodland and stream before musicians on fiddle and flute play you past banks of foxglove and wild rose. Children clutching posies skip alongside as you walk hand in hand to a tented space filled with food and flowers. Later candles in paper lanterns and tiny lights shine softly across the music and dancing - long after little ones are tucked up in their tipis. You could be stirred by the rise of the eco-wedding; thinking green and sustainably from the beginning, you want to arrange ceremony and reception close to one another to reduce miles travelled, low impact accommodation for everyone to stay in, local suppliers of seasonal food and drink, in fact everything as low carbon and earth friendly as it can be.

Fantastic outdoor wedding venue!
We had the most magical wedding at Cornish Tipi Weddings in Cornwall this year. The staff were fabulous and helpful throughout - both their communication prior to the wedding and on the day itself. We wouldn't have changed a thing. Such a beautiful venue, perfect for our small relaxed wedding, with plenty of options for how you want your day to be. Thank you.

Absolutely amazing experience start to finish
We had our wedding here and stayed in one of the Shepherds Huts 🛖 Absolutely amazing experience start to finish, Kim and the team are so lovely and the site is so beautiful and relaxing. We spent a day swimming in the lake which is so gorgeous it has to be seen to really appreciate! Me and my Husband cannot wait to return ❤️

A magical outdoor wedding
Cornish tipis is a beautiful place. The wedding pavilion felt like such a magical place to marry in a woodland glade surrounded by our loved ones. The reception was like having our own mini festival with all our friends staying in tipis close by. The staff are friendly and helpful but give you enough space so you can make yourself at home. Our day went smoothly whilst feeling nicely relaxed. We loved every minute. The on-site caterers, the Gastropod, did an amazing job for our wedding food. The guests loved it and they provided such a good service. It really was the wedding of our dreams!

Worth the wait!
After replanning our wedding throughout the pandemic, the team helped us stay excited for our special day. We actually miss emailing and chatting with them after our 3.5 year long engagement 🤣. We had the most magical time and we were well looked after during the planning phase, set up the day before and on the day itself. We can’t wait to visit again for anniversaries!

Cornish Tipis captures the magic
Me and my partner Sam had the great fortune of getting married here mid July, we found Cornish Tipis on our search for a place that had the official ceremony as well as the celebration party side of things. I can't thank the staff enough for being so accommodating, me and my partner love the outdoors and camping, so it suited us perfectly. It's a little slice of heaven and great to place to host our luckily large number of guests, the venue itself had so much to offer. Our guests were thrilled and loved exploring. Being outdoors and the weather held out, it felt so gloriously normal amidst this crazy year. We enjoyed having the wonderful tipi areas for us and our guests to explore and enjoy. The whole place feels thought out and just a bit magical. The staff were kind in transporting our older guests to the ceremony and the marquee. They are very helpful with advice or all wedding related planning. The sun was beaming, the staff helped make things ran smooth and supporting things we needed. It is a really warm and wonderful place. Cornish Tipis captures the magic and has a warmth and friendliness that makes you feel relaxed. Especially when your a bit of a bag of nerves about to get married. I felt like everywhere I looked there was a smile and peaceful pockets. Thank you again Cornish Tipis! We loved staying in the Tipi! It had all necessities for a comfy stay and there is nothing like sitting around a fire and having easy access to wood. Great staff, accommodating to our photographer, caterers and band, stunning place and heaps to see and do near by! Wish we could have stayed longer but can't wait to come back! X

Travel Notes

Take the M5 to Exeter then the A30 to Okehampton and Launceston. Turn right on to the A395 to Camelford. Just before Camelford turn right at Collan's Cross onto the B3314 to Dealbole. Follow the road out of Delabole for a couple of miles then turn left for St. Teath at the Port Gaverne crossroads (do not take the first road on the left signposted St. Teath just after Delabole). Stay on that road (again do not turn to St. Teath), curving to the right, over an old railway bridge, then take the first right just before Nomansland Cottage, and down the grassy track.
