Chilli Barn

We had our wedding at The Chilli Barn towards the end of August, and it was absolutely fantastic! The venue is perfect for a smaller, intimate wedding. The Chilli Barn team were incredibly professional and helpful, and everything appeared to me (the bride) to have gone smoothly and without a hitch! The wedding breakfast was delicious, and many of our guests told us that it was the best wedding food they've ever had (we agree!). We cannot thank the Chilli Barn enough for all their professionalism and help in making our wedding day a reality.

The most memorable part of our day was when we stopped for a minute on the day and just took it all in and we thought to ourselves how happy we were to have our big day at Chilli Barn. The day had been so hectic up to that point and the weather had been a little overcast, but as soon as our wedding breakfast ended, the sun came out, and all our guests headed outside to sit round the fire pit, play lawn games and have a photo shoot at sunset. It was such a special moment that will stay with us forever.

The whole day was amazing - The location, the food and most of all the service that Leah Matthews provided. She is an incredible asset to your team. She was incredibly organised, kind and made the whole experience more relaxing and enjoyable. We honestly can’t thank her enough for everything she did.

My Wife and I ( I still can’t get used to it) married at Chilli Barn in July 21. Still had Covid restrictions but it didn’t matter, we went ahead. All the staff were amazing from the date of the booking till the day after the wedding. It was a stressful time especially in covid times for both us as a couple and the venue staff but they did everything they could to help. We were updated along the way with rules and restriction. I want to do it all over again. It went too quick. The venue was perfect for us and the surroundings are beautiful, even on a day with rain. We had an amazing florist who made the venue m ring beautiful.

So glad we chose the Chilli Barn for our wedding venue, they were brilliant from start to finish. All the help and support with planning was great and the staff on the day were just amazing, everything ran like clockwork and we had nothing to worry about. Guests loved the venue too and made loads of positive comments. Food was outstanding. Not a single thing to complain about. Best day ever :)

Genuinely the best day of our lives. The most perfect venue surrounded by our family and friends. Outstanding venue for a ceremony and amazing evening reception. Natalie and the Chilli Barn team offer an endless amount of support and we could not have asked for a more perfect setting for the best day of our lives. Can we do it again please?

Just wanted to say to you and the team a huge thank you for everything! From the organisation to the communication during covid. We were so lucky with you and Chilli Barn that we could postpone so easily and stress free, I’d read a lot of horror stories about people losing money and unable to postpone to the date they wanted. It really was the best day ever!! Most memorable of the day - everything! It’s amazing how I was probably stressing and feeling worried but the staff just seem so calm, collected and organised. Everything just ran like clockwork! The staff always had a smile on their face and willing to help, and went above and beyond. I think for me the memorable part was pulling up in the camper van, knowing everyone I know and love was inside the barn waiting and Lee was just behind the door! I got so emotional. We also really loved the yurt and it was definitely well used by everyone. Best thing about chilli barn - the whole setting, rural, rustic and peaceful, the barn itself is just stunning for photos and the surrounding area. Guests were telling us they could see why we chose that venue as it suited our personalities and the kind of wedding we wanted. Having our wedding at the Chilli Barn definitely exceeded our expectations! Can’t wait to come back to visit the tea rooms and reminisce. Words to the chef - guests commented that the food was amazing! Especially the pies! Lee’s mum unfortunately couldn’t attend due to an operation recovery and she’s really, really fussy so we were really struggling with the food for her, but her daughter took some pie home for her that night and even she said the chicken pie was gorgeous! There was just something for everyone. Although some guests had everything! So curry, rice, pie, mash and gravy all on one plate! 😂. Lee said the mash was lovely too!! There was plenty of the food and no way did anyone go hungry. One of my guests was gluten and wheat free and he really enjoyed the food also. Experience with the wedding coordinator - as mentioned above, you’ve always been calm, organised, approachable and friendly. You’ve really communicated well, especially during covid and having to postpone. Everything ran like clockwork, couldn’t have faulted anything! The staff on the day were just amazing, Lucy, Leah and everyone else, nothing seemed like too much! Thanks again to them. I’m really going to miss planning the wedding and the build up, it’s a bit strange that it’s all over after waiting for so long but definitely got fantastic memories and thank you all again for everything 😀

We honestly had the best day ever! Thank you so much to the whole team for our perfect day. The Chilli Barn was the perfect venue - it provided a beautiful blank canvas to make our own. On the day itself, it felt like the team became family members in terms of how much they cared about every little detail. Nothing was too much trouble or silly - they took care of everything and the day ran perfectly. Everyone complimented the venue and the food was delicious. Working with Lucy was a dream. I also want to say thank you for the genuine compassion from Richard and the team when we had to postpone our wedding. We are so glad we chose such a lovely family business. Our experience working with you was seamless - you thought of things we would have overlooked, organised everything impeccably and were incredibly responsive. Again, it felt like working with family in terms of how much care went into it - we never felt like "just another wedding" even though we know how busy it is right now!

The experience was fantastic throughout. All the staff were amazing and everything ran like clockwork. We didn't need to worry about anything, it was all taken care of. Can't praise everyone enough. Guests all loved the location and venue in general, lots of questions about how we found the place! Amazing food - everyone raved about it! Loved the selection and everything came out quickly with no delays for anyone. We will definitely be recommending the Chilli Barn to everyone for any event they are planning! Thanks so much for having us at Chilli, we had the best day! The venue is such a great setting, exactly what we wanted. Most memorable part of your day - outdoor ceremony, it was even better than we imagined it would be. Also having a final photo of the evening at midnight with everyone under the tipi will be a moment that stays with us forever. Best thing about Chilli Barn - flexibility, you were able to accommodate everything we wanted to make the day personal to us. From bringing our own food and puddings, to flexibility of the decor and layout for tables. We loved having the ceremony outside (once it decided not to rain!), it’s such a unique offer and amazing to have the views in the background. The bar staff were incredible and worked really hard to keep our guests well hydrated! They were really well organised and kept the day running so smoothly, we didn’t have to do anything so we could just relax and enjoy the day. Your experience with the wedding co-ordinator - very responsive throughout the planning process and really helpful to have a full plan written out before the day so we didn’t forget anything. Good recommendations for external suppliers. Quick to react and get things changed on the day when needed.
