We would both just like to thank you for letting us have our wedding at Camel Studio. It really was so much more than we ever imagined. You and Dave do such an amazing job as hosts, the house and bridal cabin are perfect and the welcome meal is delicious! But it is really you and your team that make it so wonderful. You are all so relaxed and welcoming (and organised!) and somehow took all the stress out of the process and ensured the day was perfect! If we could do it again it would be at Camel Studio.

Everyone at Camel Studio was great at just constantly making sure everything was all going well. Helen and Dave couldn’t have done any more for us; they really listened to everything that we wanted, and nothing was too much trouble. Anything we could possibly need, they catered for. It was the little touches – their attention to detail is amazing, and we didn’t have any stress or any worry at all. Helen just wants everybody to have their perfect wedding; it’s so personal. The location is idyllic. Camel Studio is in such a beautiful place, and so many people commented on how we managed to find it. It’s just amazing; you can’t see anything around other than beautiful views. Even indoors, you can throw the big barn doors open and the views are beautifully framed. You don’t really get how amazing it is until you go there. It really is a hidden treasure

After 20 years together and finally deciding to tie the knot we started to think about all the things we wanted in a venue. Small for our closest friends and family. Luxurious accommodation for our wedding party to stay over the weekend. Intimate so that everyone could be together. Beautiful backdrop that represented the Cornish countryside for our photos. A cosy blank canvas inside so that we could decorate and make it our own style. Romantic outdoor lighting for summer evening chilling The opportunity to bring in our own caters so that we could eat exactly what we wanted. A bar with a good amount of options for our guests. Evening space for live music and dancing We researched 5 or 6 venues within Cornwall and made our first appointment which was to Camel Studio in February 2022 on a cold and blustery day. As we drove into the property we were blown away by the rolling hills and remarkable scenery that just went on for miles and despite the wind and rain we could picture how beautiful the property would look in the summer. Helen was there to greet us on arrival and spent the time taking us around the accommodation (including the gorgeous hidden shepherds hut) and venue, getting to know us and giving us tips on what we could do to make our dream wedding come true. We left Camel Studio that day and didn’t go to any other venue, when you have found the one then you just know. From that day forward Helen kept in regular contact with us, she gave us a list of proven suppliers as a starting point should we wish to use them. She replied to every message and query promptly and she just made everything easy and stress free. The weekend of June 23rd 2022 came and it was quite honestly the best weekend ever. We arrived on Friday to a beautiful hamper and spent the day lazing in the sun with our family, enjoying the quality time. Dave cooked us a delicious meal in the evening and we were just buzzing waiting for the big day. When it arrived Helen and Dave made sure everything ran smoothly, they entertained and looked after our guests, making everyone feel welcome. They had everything covered, so even when the rain started half way through our ceremony they already had a beautiful undercover space prepped for us to move into. The whole thing was just absolutely perfect, so much so that I’m looking back now 5 months later and wondering if it's too early to be able to book again to renew my vows. Thank you Helen and Dave it was the most loving, beautiful weekend xxxxx

Having our wedding at Camel Studio was, without a shadow of a doubt, the best decision we could have ever made. THE VENUE - Talk about gorgeous!! The views are absolutely breath-taking. If you’re after a picturesque countryside vibe, you couldn’t find a better spot. The outdoor spaces are large enough to have a separate location for each element of your event, but small enough to bring everyone together into an enchanted, intimate space. THE DETAILS - Being able to stay on site made the weekend run SO much smoother. It was so great to be able to retreat into the house to change shoes, change nappies, take a breather. Having our stuff on site also made it much easier to prepare the few days before the wedding. The hamper was also a lovely touch and made us feel welcomed. The welcome feast was SUCH a treeeeeat!! Wow. So, so much nicer than trying to find a restaurant or having to clean up dishes the night before your wedding. We had a chance to relax in each others company before the chaos. This was really game-changing. Also - the food - the food was INSANE! Our guests kept asking (requesting, really) if Dave and Christian would/could cater our wedding. The Bridal Suite which we had use of the night of the wedding was so, so lovely. The bed is ridiculously comfy and the special touches like champagne and coffee were perfect. It was such a luxury to only have to waddle around the corner when we were ready for bed after our huge day. The Pizzas - MAN. Don't even get me started on the pizzas. Unbelievable *chef’s kiss*. THE SUPPORT - What truly made our experience special though was the support of Helen and Dave. Everything was handled. Everything ran super smoothly. And everything was perfect thanks to these two super heroes. We honestly can not thank them enough for honestly being the reason why our wedding was so great. Everyone wants their wedding day to go well - by booking with these guys, you can trust it will.
