Unlike many traditional venues, Boscoppa Farm gives couples the freedom to design their own celebration. Whether you dream of a relaxed bohemian gathering, a rustic countryside wedding, or a vibrant festival-inspired weekend, our stunning setting provides the ideal backdrop. We take care of the big things, including our impressive 3 Hat Tipi, which can comfortably accommodate up to 120 guests for dining, dancing, and celebrating.
To make your wedding even more special, we offer on-site glamping accommodation for up to 30 guests, allowing your closest family and friends to stay and enjoy the full experience. From the excitement of the wedding day to a relaxed morning after, your celebration can become a memorable weekend shared with the people you love most.
Every wedding at Boscoppa Farm includes full wedding planning support and professional on-the-day coordination. We work closely with you throughout the planning process, helping bring your vision to life while ensuring every detail is carefully considered. On the day itself, we manage suppliers, timings, and logistics so you can relax and enjoy every moment.
We intentionally host only a small number of weddings each year, enabling us to provide a highly personal and attentive service. This means you'll never feel like just another booking. What happens if it rains?
Everyone hopes for beautiful sunshine on their wedding day, but unfortunately the British weather can be unpredictable! The good news is that our tent is designed to keep you comfortable whatever the weather. The front section has a clear cover, allowing you to keep the front open while still enjoying the stunning countryside views.
The tent can accommodate up to 150 guests, so everyone can stay warm and dry inside if needed. If the evening turns a little chilly, we can light our outdoor fire pits to keep guests cosy, and we're also happy to recommend local companies that hire patio heaters.
Can we get legally married on site?
We are not currently licensed to hold legal marriage ceremonies, so you'll need to complete the legal paperwork before or after your wedding day at Boscoppa Farm. Many couples choose to visit the registry office in Truro a few days beforehand.
One of the advantages of this is that your ceremony at Boscoppa Farm can be completely personal and unique. You can even ask a friend or family member to lead your ceremony if you'd like. We're also delighted to recommend some incredible local celebrants who can help create a ceremony that's perfect for you.
Can we bring our pets?
Absolutely! We're a very dog-friendly venue so they're more than welcome to join your celebration.
We're also happy to welcome horses. Parts of Boscoppa Farm were previously a working livery yard, so we have all the facilities needed if you'd like to include your horse as part of your special day.
Can we bring our own alcohol?
For your wedding day, we'll provide a fully stocked and professionally staffed bar. If you have any favourite drinks, signature cocktails, or specific requests, just let us know—we'll do our best to include them on the menu.
You're also welcome to bring your own wine for your wedding breakfast, which can be served for a corkage fee of £5 per bottle.
If you're planning any additional celebrations before or after your wedding day, you're welcome to bring your own drinks. Alternatively, if you'd prefer, we'd be delighted to open the bar and provide staff for your gathering, allowing you and your guests to simply relax and enjoy the celebrations.
We want to extend the celebrations – can we add an extra day?
Absolutely! Boscoppa Farm is the perfect place to make your wedding more than just one day. Whether you'd like to host a relaxed pre-wedding barbecue, welcome drinks with family and friends, or a post-wedding breakfast or brunch, we're happy to help you make the most of your time here.
Adding an extra day also means you can enjoy your beautiful decorations and flowers for longer, making the most of all the effort that's gone into creating your perfect setting. It's a wonderful way to spend extra time with your loved ones and make your wedding celebration even more memorable.
Additional celebration days are available for £750 per day, giving you exclusive use of the venue to continue your celebrations at your own pace.
When can we set up and take down decorations?
You and your suppliers will have access to Boscoppa Farm from 10:00am the day before your wedding, giving you plenty of time to decorate and prepare everything for your special day.
After the celebrations, you'll have until 5:00pm the day after your wedding to remove decorations and collect any belongings, allowing you to enjoy the occasion without feeling rushed.
Is there parking?
Yes! We have a dedicated parking field with space for up to 100 cars, so there's plenty of room for your guests.
To help everything run smoothly, we'll provide a parking attendant for the first hour of guest arrivals to direct vehicles and ensure parking is organised. Taxis are also able to drive right up to the venue entrance, making drop-offs and collections easy and convenient for your guests.
We have wedding guests coming from far and wide. How easy is it to get to the venue?
Although Boscoppa Farm feels wonderfully secluded, with all the charm and tranquillity of the Cornish countryside, it's surprisingly easy to reach.
We're just 15 minutes from the A30, 15 minutes from St Austell railway station, and only 30 minutes from Newquay Airport, making travel straightforward for guests arriving by car, train, or plane.
You'll enjoy the feeling of escaping to a private countryside venue without being far from Cornwall's main transport links.
What time can we party until?
Your wedding celebrations can continue until 11:30pm, with all guests who are not staying on site required to leave by midnight.
For those staying at our campsite, you're welcome to continue the celebrations with a small, relaxed gathering after midnight. We simply ask that noise is kept to a respectful level.
