We are not a Manor, Hall or Estate. We are not a Barn, Hotel or Estate, we are ASHFIELD HOUSE. When couples take over exclusively for their wedding day, our house becomes like their home and we become like their extended family!
Our house is a gorgeous blank canvas for weddings, it is grand yet homely and is jam packed full of quirky details (old and new) yet somehow manages to soak up the personality of each couple.
The atmosphere here is full of love and joy, probably because of the absolute legends that make up our wedding team, busy doing their dream job day in day out! Our house and our team are laid back, fun, creative and wild – but not so hipster your Nan wont approve!
We are not normal… being an independent family business means we let couples do their thing without a load of rules getting in the way. We love drinking coffee and brainstorming about how to make weddings awesome – and with a layout designed specifically for weddings, mind blowing in house catering and 15 guest bedrooms we really do ace it.
Shameless brag, we’ve won the UK’s best venue (town/city) 2017, 2018 and 2019 and for 2020 we are living the dream as judges! We never stop evolving, much like Madonna Queen of Reinvention, we close each year to redecorate, renovate and populate our house with very lovely new things.

One of the best days of our life!
It was an amazing day throughout! It wouldn’t of been so perfect without Emma there, she was incredible at planning our day! The food at Ashfield house was also commented on by everyone of our guests! They couldn’t do enough for us and everyone who was with us on our day, I will forever be thankful to Ashfield house for making our wedding so memorable.

The Greatest Day of our Lives
We are one of the Covid impacted couples whose wedding had to be arranged not once but twice due to Covid lock downs. Ashfield House were amazing throughout this time though, acting with integrity throughout. Fast forwarding to our day, what a venue, what amazing food and all supported by amazing staff. Not only did we enjoy ourselves, but everybody also had an amazing time, and the Ashfield House team played a massive part in this. For me it is the perfect venue, with the best food and an unbelievable atmosphere. Highly Recommend.

An absolutely beautiful venue!
An absolutely beautiful venue, but what makes Ashfield so amazing is the team that work here. Those looking after the grounds, housekeepers, kitchen and bar staff through to the wedding coordinators. Our wedding day was perfect, the team had everything covered, very well organised in the run up to the wedding and on the day everyone was so helpful, our coordinator Emma was absolutely lovely. Food was amazing, fast and effective communication and nothing was too much trouble for any member of the team. Thank you so much!

Faultless from start to finish
We did our nuptials differently with a family party the day before and a small intimidate wedding and reception the day after. Amanda and her were extremely accommodating, never trying to upswell and made us feel totally at ease with how we wanted to do things. The entire staff were professional at all times and nothing was too much trouble. I would absolutely recommend hosting your celebrations here

Perfect!
What a venue! We got married here on Easter Monday and couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. Our wedding coordinator Amanda was amazing, so kind and genuine. She organised our day so it ran smoothly and she made us feel so excited for our big day. ☺
All the team at Ashfield House have been so understanding and helpful, after we had to postpone our wedding 5 times (had 6 dates in total). We owe a massive thank you to everybody there, including Katie who was always an email/phone call away to reassure and help us.

The day went smoothly!
Our wedding at Ashfield House in April 2022 was absolutely perfect. The team, and in particular our wedding coordinator Amanda, went above and beyond to make sure that everything was what we wanted and the day went smoothly. There was absolutely no hiccups on the day and the team worked seamlessly in the background so that everything flowed.
I would 100% recommend. All of our guests commented on how lovely the food was and how much they liked the venue. A lot of people commented on how good the gin and lemonade was in the after-ceremony drinks. One guest said that if their son ever gets married, they will be looking at Ashfield House as a venue! We had a small wedding (40 people), and the venue was the perfect size, even though it can accommodate for a lot more. It was still cozy. The bedrooms were absolutely gorgeous and the breakfast was delicious too.
Honestly, I can't rave about this place enough. I would definitely choose Ashfield House again without hesitation and I'm already trying to think of events that we could have there in future because I'm so keen to go back!
To everyone at Ashfield, and Amanda in particular, we can't thank you enough for giving us a perfect day.
