Wynyard Hall

We were married at Wynyard Hall on 17th Feb. From the very first meeting, Suzanne Brompton and her team were friendly, interested and fully in tune with our vision for the day. Nothing was too much to ask and within the wedding synopsis provided, the whole day was laid out and planned to the nth degree. The wedding team always responded to emails in a timely fashion. Any queries we had with roomings etc were efficiently taken care of by the reception team. The day before the wedding the bridesmaids and I stayed in Gardner's Cottage. I was surprised at the size of the accommodation and impressed by the added touches such as a welcome basket of bread, milk, jam etc. The cottage was clean and well kept. On the wedding day itself, we received nothing but top-class service. The events team took care of every last detail to ensure the day of our dreams, showing the utmost professionalism and attentiveness to all of our guests. In our opinion, the wedding package is amazing value for money, particularly given the overall grandeur of the venue. The food served throughout the day was delicious and carefully presented, with allergens and special requests catered for without any quibbles. The only negatives we have are very minimal and did not hinder our stay: - The locks on the doors are old and very temperamental. This includes the lock on the back door of Gardner's Cottage and the lock on the bridal suite door. A couple of other guests also reported issues such as their doors not unlocking/locking. The maintenance team did mention that they were looking to update all of the locks soon and worked to resolve the issues for us. - There were urine stains in the toilet in the bridal suite, however, we had requested early check in and there had been a function the evening before, so the cleaning had clearly been done in less time than the staff were accustomed to. Thank you Wynyard, we will be returning in the future to celebrate future events!

Can I just say....my daughter got married here on the 26th August and I can quite honestly say the staff here are something else! Each and every member were true perfectionists and quite honestly the most friendly and helpful people! They made sure her day was perfect in every way,could only rate you a five but deserve a 500.You should all be very proud of yourselves for providing a wonderful service to your guests.Only got chance to say thank you to a few of you but from the bottom of my heart

We had our hearts set on an outdoor ceremony on the beautiful terrace but in true British summertime style it rained all morning. The team at Wynyard worked so hard to prepare the outdoor setup as well as a back up indoor option. As if by magic, the rain held off for the hour and we hard our outdoor ceremony. The rest of the day ran so smoothly and both the daytime and nighttime master of ceremonies were fantastic, making sure we knew exactly where to be and ensuring everything went to plan. Thanks to Suzanne and the whole team for making our day so perfect!

I really couldn’t find a bad word to say about our experience with Wynyard hall. We both had no idea how to plan a wedding but the coordinators at Wynyard helped us through every step. It was like having your own wedding planner! Not only is the venue absolutely stunning but the staff are exceptional. Libby was our fairy godmother for the day, she made sure everything went flawlessly. It was ridiculously hot on our wedding day and she must have been exhausted after that day sorting every little thing for us! The food was out of this world! The rooms were gorgeous especially ours for the night! I really couldn’t recommend this venue enough!

Wedding Date: Thursday 18th May Thank you all so much the day was amazing from all the staff making everyone feel at ease and welcome too the food it was all fantastic couldn't fault any of it Thank you Dan for keeping everything running and keeping us up dated throughout the day.
