Facilities and Capacity
The Hidden Oak caters to weddings large and small and has a range of features that couples will love. The immediate grounds were designed by award-winning landscape designer Lizze Tulip and provide an idyllic location for outdoor ceremonies and wedding photographs. Nestled between two tranquil lakes, couples will find a modern barn where they can host their wedding breakfast. The barn looks nothing short of stunning, featuring exposed oak beams and surrounded by a Yorkshire stone patio. Its large bi-fold doors flood the room with natural light during the day to create an idyllic and airy setting. When the sun goes down, the space is transformed into the ultimate party zone where guests can boogie long into the night.
Services Offered
The Hidden Oak team aims to provide an unforgettable experience for couples and their loved ones. A dedicated wedding coordinator will ensure each wedding is a seamless and enjoyable occasion. Couples can erect marquees, tipis, or yurts for extra capacity. Live music facilities are on site, and a dance floor is available. Catering is provided by the team's in-house caterers, who will prepare a culinary masterpiece to suit each couple's needs. Confetti, fireworks, and baraats are permitted, and the venue is pet friendly. This hidden gem is easily accessible and even has a helipad for those wishing to make a dramatic entrance.

- RRebecca and Andrew01/05/2026The best day ever! The best day ever!We recently had our wedding at the Hidden Oak, and what a place to have it! I wasn't even aware the Hidden Oak was a place, until I went to a wedding fayre there, and fell in love. I spoke to the owners (Rob and Chris) at the wedding fayre, they took my details and sent me information very quickly, regarding prices/availability etc. I then met up with Rob at the venue, to talk through how I would actually like the day to look, and he tailored this to my own requirements, and again sent me details including the alternatives very quickly. They had a list of suppliers that they use regularly, which helped us with ideas for our planning. I was so impressed with everything on offer, that I booked it quickly, before the slot was taken. Throughout the planning Rob and Chris continued the regular interaction and were available to answer any questions I had, and were also very helpful when I had new ideas, they helped me to put them in to place. The venue also provided us with a wedding co-ordinator, to help with the planning. Holly was so wonderful, she was always so polite and helpful, and helped everything come together on the day. Nothing seemed too much for Rob, Chris or Holly, and they were all an absolute pleasure to plan my wedding with. The day of the wedding came, the bridal party went to the venue early, to have breakfast in the beautifully renovated house. Just being in that environment helped us to feel stress free. The house was huge and it had everything there you could possibly need, for setting up for the day. Everything was in order, all the decorations had being set up the day previously, just how I wanted it. The whole venue looked absolutely exceptional. They had even renovated the court yard in the time we used for booking it, so it looked so spectacular, both inside and out, and that was even before you see the spectacular grounds, with lakes and trees all around. The food service was wonderful, we opted for a buffet for the wedding breakfast and pulled pork buns and pizza for the evening. Everything was prepared on time, and everyone commented on how amazing the food was and how well organised it was. There was more than enough there for everyone to enjoy. I could not fault anything! Customer service was second to none. The owners have put so much love and care into making the venue what it is, everything has been completed to the highest spec and no corners have been cut. The staff were great, guests were happy, the children were happy and had plenty of space to run around, and there is honestly no place on earth I would rather have spent my wedding day! The hosts, Rob, Chris, and their dad, truly went above and beyond. They supported us through what was a very stressful time, making everything run smoothly with such understanding and care. Our wedding was a SEN wedding, and they catered to every single need with patience and compassion. The food was beautifully presented and tasted incredible. The on-site rooms are also available for overnight stays and are genuinely 5-star quality. The staff were amazing from start to finish. At one point, my daughter became unwell after having a bit too much to drink, and the team took such great care of her and us making sure we didn’t miss a single moment of our special day. These guys really do go above and beyond in every way. I would highly recommend The Hidden Oak for anyone looking to celebrate their special day. Super friendly, super accommodating, and somehow always one step ahead! It's like they’ve got a sixth sense for what the happy couple (and me) might need next. Nothing is ever too much trouble. They genuinely care about making the day perfect for their couples. Some venues sadly give wedding suppliers headaches as they're hard to work with. But the Hidden Oak are one of the best. Epic.
