The immediate grounds were designed by award-winning landscape designer Lizze Tulip and provide an idyllic location for outdoor ceremonies and wedding photographs. Nestled between two tranquil lakes, couples will find a modern barn where they can host their wedding breakfast. The barn looks nothing short of stunning, featuring exposed oak beams and surrounded by a Yorkshire stone patio. Its large bi-fold doors flood the room with natural light during the day to create an idyllic and airy setting. When the sun goes down, the space is transformed into the ultimate party zone where guests can boogie long into the night. Services Offered The Hidden Oak team aims to provide an unforgettable experience for couples and their loved ones. A dedicated wedding coordinator will ensure each wedding is a seamless and enjoyable occasion. Couples can erect marquees, tipis, or yurts for extra capacity. Live music facilities are on site, and a dance floor is available. Catering is provided by the team's in-house caterers, who will prepare a culinary masterpiece to suit each couple's needs. Confetti, fireworks, and baraats are permitted, and the venue is pet friendly. This hidden gem is easily accessible and even has a helipad for those wishing to make a dramatic entrance.

From the moment we arrived at The Hidden Oak, we were completely blown away by the exquisite, beautifully maintained surroundings. The wildlife, lakes, and lush green grounds created the perfect setting for such a special day and we instantly knew we could picture ourselves getting married there. When we were shown around the venue, we loved how close together everything was, from the stunning stretch tent for the ceremony, to the drinks reception terrace, and then onto the wedding breakfast and reception barn. It meant all of our guests stayed together throughout the day, creating a lovely atmosphere. We also loved that the venue is a blank canvas, allowing us to make the day truly our own. Rob, Holly, and the whole team were incredible from start to finish. Before booking, Rob helped us secure our date and guided us through all the big decisions, making the planning process feel easy and stress-free. On the day itself, Holly, our wedding coordinator, was absolutely amazing. Nothing was ever too much trouble and she made sure everything ran like clockwork. When our band unexpectedly broke down just 20 minutes from the venue, the team actually went to collect them so that our evening wasn't disrupted. That level of care and dedication meant the world to us and is something we'll never forget. The on-site accommodation was outstanding. The décor is modern, stylish and beautifully finished, with every room and bathroom presented to such a high standard. We booked the accommodation for our bridal party the night before the wedding and fully booked it for the night of the wedding too, which made the whole experience even more special. If we had one small suggestion, it would be to consider including the bridal suite as part of the wedding package, as this is something many couples might expect. We also felt a few more bins around the accommodation, particularly in some bedrooms and bathrooms, would be helpful. At the time, it was still under construction, but after being shown the plans and hearing the vision, we put our trust in the team. Looking back now, we are so incredibly grateful that we did. Hidden Oaks is simply breathtaking. It's magical, and you would never believe such an incredible place exists in Stockton. Every detail has been thoughtfully designed, creating the most elegant and unforgettable setting for a wedding. As a family-run venue, the warmth and care they show is second to none. From our very first enquiry, every visit, and especially on our wedding day, they made us feel completely at ease. Nothing was ever too much trouble. We experienced a few unexpected issues with other suppliers, but the Hidden Oaks team went above and beyond their roles to step in and help. Their kindness, professionalism and genuine desire to make our day perfect meant more to us than we can ever express. We stayed in the stunning accommodation for two nights, and it was absolutely beautiful. The rooms are luxurious, the communal spaces are spacious and welcoming, and everything feels so grand while still being incredibly comfortable. The bridal suite was perfect, comfortably accommodating my wife, her 12 bridesmaids, and her mum as they all had their hair and makeup done and got ready together. It made for such a special and relaxed start to the day. We were fortunate enough to get married outside under the stretch tent, surrounded by the most beautiful grounds. The setting is truly breathtaking, with plenty of comfortable seating throughout the gardens so every guest could relax and enjoy the day. It created the most magical atmosphere. Our wedding breakfast was held in the stunning barn, and it was everything we had hoped for. The food was exceptional, with every single guest commenting on how delicious it was. There was nothing but empty plates in sight! A special thank you has to go to Holly, who coordinated our wedding so beautifully. She communicated with us throughout the entire planning process, keeping us reassured every step of the way. On the day itself, she was calm, organised and simply fantastic. Every member of staff was equally amazing, and together they made our wedding day completely stress-free. We got married here in 20.06.2026. What an amazing place it is. I initially came across the venue on Hitched not realising it was only 15 minutes away from me. I fell in love straight away with the look of the place so arranged to look around. At the time the accommodation was still being renovated so there was only the barn, a bedroom, dressing room, bridal suite and kitchen ready. Rob showed us round and I was going ‘wow’ to every room we walked in which isn’t something I had done to other venues which we looked round. We booked our wedding with them after this viewing. It was a dream venue honestly. We had Holly as our wedding coordinator and can’t fault her at all. So lovely and genuine and nothing was too much trouble (even when I was sending her 500000 emails 🤣) We were invited to regular meetings to ask how things were coming along and to ask about our plans and what we were wanting from the venue. Every time we had a meeting a room had been complete so I was happy with this. We only had our reception here but were able to use the accommodation night before and were able to get ready in the morning which was beautiful and calm with a continental breakfast included. We had the BBQ sharing meal for our food and this was unbelievable. Only criticism is that we were told it would be one board per couple on the table but have been told by guests that some tables of 8 only received 1 board so wasn’t quiet enough food. All our guests couldn’t compliment the venue enough with the looks and the staff etc. Thank you to Holly, Rob, Marie and team for making our day magical 🤍 We got married here in 20.06.2026. The best day ever! The best day ever!
We recently had our wedding at the Hidden Oak, and what a place to have it! I wasn't even aware the Hidden Oak was a place, until I went to a wedding fayre there, and fell in love. I spoke to the owners (Rob and Chris) at the wedding fayre, they took my details and sent me information very quickly, regarding prices/availability etc. I then met up with Rob at the venue, to talk through how I would actually like the day to look, and he tailored this to my own requirements, and again sent me details including the alternatives very quickly. They had a list of suppliers that they use regularly, which helped us with ideas for our planning. I was so impressed with everything on offer, that I booked it quickly, before the slot was taken. Throughout the planning Rob and Chris continued the regular interaction and were available to answer any questions I had, and were also very helpful when I had new ideas, they helped me to put them in to place. The venue also provided us with a wedding co-ordinator, to help with the planning. Holly was so wonderful, she was always so polite and helpful, and helped everything come together on the day. Nothing seemed too much for Rob, Chris or Holly, and they were all an absolute pleasure to plan my wedding with. The day of the wedding came, the bridal party went to the venue early, to have breakfast in the beautifully renovated house. Just being in that environment helped us to feel stress free. The house was huge and it had everything there you could possibly need, for setting up for the day. Everything was in order, all the decorations had being set up the day previously, just how I wanted it. The whole venue looked absolutely exceptional. They had even renovated the court yard in the time we used for booking it, so it looked so spectacular, both inside and out, and that was even before you see the spectacular grounds, with lakes and trees all around. The food service was wonderful, we opted for a buffet for the wedding breakfast and pulled pork buns and pizza for the evening. Everything was prepared on time, and everyone commented on how amazing the food was and how well organised it was. There was more than enough there for everyone to enjoy. I could not fault anything! Customer service was second to none. The owners have put so much love and care into making the venue what it is, everything has been completed to the highest spec and no corners have been cut. The staff were great, guests were happy, the children were happy and had plenty of space to run around, and there is honestly no place on earth I would rather have spent my wedding day! Our wedding was a SEN wedding, and they catered to every single need with patience and compassion. The food was beautifully presented and tasted incredible. The on-site rooms are also available for overnight stays and are genuinely 5-star quality. The staff were amazing from start to finish. At one point, my daughter became unwell after having a bit too much to drink, and the team took such great care of her and us making sure we didn’t miss a single moment of our special day. I’ve worked at Hidden Oak more times than I can count, and they’re a supplier’s dream. Super friendly, super accommodating, and somehow always one step ahead! It's like they’ve got a sixth sense for what the happy couple (and me) might need next. Nothing is ever too much trouble. They genuinely care about making the day perfect for their couples. Some venues sadly give wedding suppliers headaches as they're hard to work with. But the Hidden Oak are one of the best. Epic. It's like they’ve got a sixth sense for what the happy couple (and me) might need next. Nothing is ever too much trouble. They genuinely care about making the day perfect for their couples. Some venues sadly give wedding suppliers headaches as they're hard to work with. But the Hidden Oak are one of the best. Epic. Couldn’t recommend more.

The grounds are absolutely stunning every corner offers a picture-perfect backdrop, from the serene lakes to the immaculate gardens. The venue itself is the definition of luxury and truly the perfect setting for your dream wedding.
