For the ultimate dress reveal, brides access the Chapel through a secret entrance making their way down the statement wow-worthy staircase, leading directly to the wedding aisle. The Old Barn is where the eating, drinking, and merriment takes place. A fabulous timber and exposed stone building brimming with character, flanked on two sides by picture-perfect private terraces that will transport guests to the Mediterranean in an instant. That decision was made before we even got to see the full venue. The venue is amazing. The chapel is beautiful, intimate and romantic. The wedding barn stunning. The bar is well stocked and, combined with the terrace, was perfect for our vision of a chilled out evening vibe. The bedrooms are unique and the entire hotel and wedding barn is immaculately clean throughout. The enthusiasm Kelci showed at that initial meeting to ensure our day was exactly as we wanted was amazing. The effort put in by Emily to ensure all of the pre wedding day prep was perfected - even some last minute changes - made the build up to the wedding stress-free and enjoyable. Emma did a great job of ensuring all of our bedroom allocations and bookings were exactly as required. From arriving in the farmhouse the night before the wedding we knew we could relax as everything was in safe hands. On the actual day Kelci and Steve were on hand to attend to everything and ensure everything went perfectly to plan. Their attention to even the tiniest of details was incredible. The room layout, the drinks, the food, the service, the timing were immaculate. The feedback we have received from our guests just reinforce that this is the perfect venue with amazing staff! We didn’t need to look anywhere else – we knew this was where we were going to get married. The style, the layout, the atmosphere… everything about it was beyond anything we could have imagined. It felt so special from day one, and somehow it still managed to exceed every expectation on our wedding day. The planning process was fantastic from start to finish. Paige, our wedding coordinator was absolutely amazing. Nothing was ever too much trouble – and I genuinely mean nothing. Every question was answered, every request was met with a smile, and the whole team did everything they could to take away any stress so we could simply enjoy the lead-up to our wedding. A huge, heartfelt thank you to Elle and Ian. Elle was our Wedding Manager, and from our final meeting the evening before the wedding right through to saying goodbye after what must have been a very long shift, she was absolutely incredible. She has such a warm, calming presence and made us feel so reassured every step of the way. She validated every little worry, kept everything running seamlessly behind the scenes, and allowed us to be completely present and enjoy every second of our day. I knew we were in the safest hands. From start to finish, the entire day ran so smoothly, and that was largely thanks to our wedding coordinator, Eva Carter, and our Master of Ceremonies, Ian Stanley. They were both absolutely fantastic. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they took care of everything so seamlessly that we were able to relax and enjoy every moment without worrying about a thing. On the morning of the wedding, Eva and Ian helped everything run perfectly while we were getting ready. They transported our belongings from the farmhouse to the wedding venue, which was a huge help. They also went above and beyond by helping pack up the farmhouse and moving everything into our honeymoon suite. The attention to detail was incredible. There were a few food items we didn’t get a chance to eat during the celebrations, and they thoughtfully left a plate for us in the honeymoon suite so we could enjoy them later. It was such a lovely touch and really shows how much they care about their couples’ experience. Eva and Ian were so friendly, approachable, and fun to be around. They kept us entertained, calm, and looked after all day, making what could have been a stressful experience feel completely effortless. One of the most important parts of the day for us was the food, particularly as the groom is a former chef at Runa Farm. The food throughout the day was amazing, and all of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed it. We would like to give a huge thank you to all of the chefs, and serving staff, for giving us the perfect wedding dining experience which for us, was instrumental to the day. Everyone was so happy with the quality and service and we appreciate every detail that went into it being perfect. We’d like to extend a special thank you to Josh Nolan who looked after us at our wedding taster, and supported us to make the refinements to our dishes that really made the difference. His passion for what he does really shines through. A stunning beauty and the beast style ceremony room, an incredibly beautiful banquet room with huge windows that brings in plenty of light, an open area for the drinks reception and a stunning garden with a water fountain.
