The historical manor Woodmancote Place once belonged to Countess Goda in 1066 and Edward Seymour; Henry VIII’s Lord Protector of the Realm. With unrivalled flexibility to use the grounds of the manor as you wish, Woodmancote Place offers 150 acres of possibilities. Parkland, green lawns and a private deer park all available for the wild and whimsical, or the elegant and traditional.
THE GROUNDS
Four stunning lawns offer a variety of vistas and can all be used for your ceremony, drinks reception or marquee, the choice is yours.
The Manor House lawn features the Manor as the backdrop.
The deer park lawn features views across the picturesque deer park and lakes.
The croquet lawn is slightly elevated and features views of the Manor House, lakes and deer park, nestled within an avenue of trees.
The lake view lawn has the widest expanse of space, positioned nearest to the three lakes.
THE CEREMONY
Celebrant lead ceremonies can be held anywhere on the grounds of Woodmancote Place.
For a traditional Church wedding, or blessing, St Peter’s is located within the grounds of Woodmancote Place.
A beautiful Norman Church, made up of 13th century and 19th century parts, seating up to 175 people.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Full, exclusive use of the grounds for 20-200 people is £5,000 including VAT.
Including use of all four lawns as desired. Access to the drawing room of the Manor for couples photographs. Access to the cloakroom of the Manor for the couple, until 10pm. Access to the deer park for photographs. Free parking for all guests. Access either side of the big day for set up and take down. Also included is our in-house wedding coordinator to assist with logistics during planning and on the day itself to ensure everything runs smoothly.
