A stunning historic venue with views over the River Thames, Winchester House offers an idyllic setting for a wedding. With the prestige of a private members club, Winchester house boasts exclusive private gardens, perfect for weddings, corporate events, and summer parties. Here guests can enjoy welcome drinks before moving inside for a seated dinner, or relax with an informal barbecue as the sun goes down. The venue is comprised of two spaces, a ballroom with a bar and library room. Each is equipped with all the production and lighting you’ll need to create your perfect event, and can be used together for larger events. Winchester House can accommodate up to 100 guests for a seated dinner or for a standing reception.

The riverside garden is a real gem.

Winchester House offers that perfect level of country charm but with city sophistication. In particular the riverside garden is a real gem. The whole team are delightful and were so helpful with every aspect of our wedding, including last minute panics and dialling in the best man who had to stay at home with COVID. Ophelia and Tom were central to our day being a success and we were so lucky to choose them.

We were absolutely delighted with the experience we had planning and hosting our wedding at Winchester House. From the moment we met Olivia, we knew we were in the most professional and capable hands, she instinctively understood the kind of event we wanted and she helped us every step of the way to achieve that. On a beautifully sunny, July day we celebrated our wedding reception on the lawn overlooking the river with our friends and family. We were utterly relaxed in the knowledge that Olivia and her team were doing everything behind the scenes to ensure the smooth running of the day. We cannot thank her enough for making our day so very special, in a glorious riverside location.
