We are totally bespoke and so the pricing varies depending on the date, wedding requirements and the spaces used. We don't typically charge venue hire (except a fee for the ceremony room) but we work on a minimum spend basis which again varies depending on the details of your day. For example - 1st floor exclusive hire would typically be a minimum spend in the region of £10,000 for a Saturday although this does depend on multiple factors. We also offer private hire of individual spaces for smaller weddings and this will of course be lower cost. 7th floor exclusive hire of our Michelin star restaurant Angler with roof terrace will again vary but typically for a weekend a minimum spend between £12,000 - £16,000.

Most amazing day of our lives - absolutely fantastic team at South Place
Our wedding was supposed to be a small wedding and we started planning it in January 2020 for the Wedding date of Jun 2020. We certainly didn't expect the hotel to be closed for much of 2020 and while all the event staff and wedding coordinator went on furlough, it was a little difficult to correspond with the hotel but we managed to reschedule ours for June 2021. When the hotel reopened, we negotiated to move the date again so we could have the wedding without restrictions. The hotel was kind enough to compromise on this (you're not normally allowed to move the date) with an increased minimum spend. Unfortunately, even after changing the date second time, restrictions were only lifted 1 day after our wedding. But the hotel was amazingly flexible with all of the changes and uncertainty and we are really grateful for that. Keeva was just amazing. She went through furlough and onboarding different wedding coordinators (I believe she herself is not actually the wedding coordinator at the hotel) and all the lockdown chaos with us and helped us through everything! We can't thank her enough. We were corresponding with her most of the time and she made sure we'd gone through all the details and just the nicest, friendliest person! She was with us at the menu tasting as well and wrote everything we were eating and drinking - make sure you go with a completely empty stomach, they wined and dined us like royalty at our tasting! We had no experience planning a wedding so we were so grateful that Keeva asked lots of questions about what we wanted to do - some things I hadn't thought about at all! Like whether to give away the table flowers at the end of the day! Special mention to Michael as well, who was absolutely fantastic - moving people from room to room for the pre-drink, ceremony, reception, dinner, dancing and announcing what was going on, announcing us into the room, telling us when to enter and finding us some quiet space during the day as well to take a breath. I don't know what we would have done without him! My family and I were praising him all day! He also did all the technical stuff on the day, playing the music during the ceremony, helping set up slideshow, video messages etc. Also wanted to mention Mika, who was serving us throughout the day. My parents kept telling me how she was very attentive, I was very grateful to her for making sure people were drinking water towards the end of the evening (including myself 😅) and my sister told me how Mika made sure my sister and her friend were safe when they were leaving.

Secret Garden Wedding - Exceeded all expectations
We truly had the best day possible for our intimate wedding under Covid restrictions. Firstly Keeva, who helped us plan the day, was amazing. Really friendly, always available to talk and most importantly, knowledgable and creative with how we could make it special under current guidelines. The room itself is amazing, it’s the perfect size for 30-40 people with a beautiful installation and all-round design. Unfortunately we couldn’t have the roof open due to rain but it really didn’t impact things at all. The staff were amazing and everyone commented on just what a good job they did in adding to the occasion. Always smiling and on hand but not intrusive in anyway. The food and wine were superb and excellent value for money, high quality restaurant level eating. All in all it really did just make for everything we had hoped it would be. I couldn’t recommend more for a stylish, impressive yet intimate wedding. Huge thanks to Keeva and the whole team once again, we wish we could do it all again.

Exceeded our expectations by quite some way
Dear Amy, I hope you are well and enjoying the Sunshine! Apologies for not dropping you a line sooner. Sunday was a bit of a blur and then we headed off to Sicily...I wanted to take the time to write this properly, rather than just send a rushed phone message. Firstly, I just wanted to say that the day exceeded our expectations by quite some way. The room and the terrace looked amazing and everyone felt utterly spoilt, including Rob and myself!! There were a couple of small hiccups before we got to South Place but then everything seemed to run so smoothly, it all felt like a dream. Rob and I were in little bubble all day, trying to take as much in as possible! A huge thank you to all of the Ladies and Gentlemen who looked after us so well and to the Chef and his team too! The food was just as amazing as we anticipated it would be, if not more so! Most importantly, we would like to thank you, as you pulled everything together so brilliantly! You were a total and utter star on the day! You are a very warm and lovely Lady and it was a pleasure working with you! I have had requests from quite a few people to do it all again next year, they had that much of a good time! All those touches throguhout the day like getting me and the bridesmaids the quickest G&Ts to calm our nerves before going down the aisle to fixing my sisters dress in no time and not forgetting the upgrade! The room was sensational and having so much space to get ready was so helpful. You're a dream to work with and I wasn't the only person who thought so, everyone from the florist to my makeup artist said how efficient, personal and professional you are!
