Weddings at YurtBar

The maximum capacity at Weddings at YurtBar is 420 guests in Leeds.

The interiors are beautifully enwrapped in fir foliage and fairy lights, creating a magical and festive ambiance. Log fires are also featured throughout to add warmth and romance to your special day.

Yes, the YurtBar consists of multiple yurts named after top ski resorts, which can be podded together or separated. This allows the venue to easily accommodate a smaller number of guests while still feeling intimate and cozy.

Your hire would include exclusive use of the Yurtbar structure for your wedding date, along with an extensive existing set-up that would normally be a huge undertaking to source and install independently.

This includes:

• A full yurt village structure

• A large, fully operational bar

• A large dancefloor

• Wood fired log burners throughout

• Stunning lighting throughout

• Stage space for a band or DJ

• Tables and seating throughout

• Toilets

• Catering tent access

• Use of our electricity generators

• Existing Yurtbar styling, interiors and fittings

 In short, a huge amount of the core wedding infrastructure is already in place. You would be getting a fully built, beautifully styled venue with many of the major practical elements already covered, ready for you to bring in your own suppliers and personal touches.

Absolutely. The venue's layout includes spaces such as a dance floor, stage, and photo booth, allowing the party to continue until the early hours of the morning in a lively and enchanting environment.

The smallest Yurts offer a cozy setting with sheepskin-covered benches surrounding a central fireplace, perfect for more intimate gatherings with a warm and festive atmosphere.

The venue is located in the grounds of Harewood House, Leeds

A large wedding set-up of this scale would usually involve sourcing a structure, bar, lighting, dancefloor, staging, toilets, power, catering space, furniture and styling separately. With Yurtbar, so much of that work has already been done for you.

The compromise is that availability is very limited, with only three November dates, and the dates are back-to-back. But for a couple who are flexible, creative and excited by the idea of doing something a little different, this could be an amazing opportunity to host a large wedding in a truly standout setting at Harewood House.

You would be responsible for arranging the following:

• Catering: you can choose and arrange your own caterers, who can work from our catering tent around any existing Yurtbar catering set-up requirements.

• Styling and décor: you are welcome to personalise the space and dress it to suit your wedding style. We can leave the Yurtbar styling in place, or remove smaller items that don’t suit your vision, for example changing our red gingham tablecloths for your own white linen.

• Wedding coordination: you would manage your own event timeline, suppliers and logistics. We may be on site to oversee the venue, but we would not be coordinating the wedding day itself.

• Entertainment, floristry, photography and any other personal touches.

This approach gives you a huge amount of creative freedom, without being tied to a set wedding package, while still benefiting from a large venue structure and major infrastructure already being in place.
