We pride ourselves on our impeccable service. From your initial enquiry to your special day, our dedicated, friendly wedding coordinator & team will guide and assist you every step of the way.
Licensed for Civil Marriage Ceremonies, you can choose to have your ceremony as well as your reception at the hotel. There is a choice of two self-contained banqueting suites to accommodate from 10 to 130 guests for your sit down meal, and up to 200 for your evening reception.
Whether you require the full Wedding Package or wish for a bespoke wedding to suit your requirements, we can tailor your day to suit your needs.

This made it extra special as people were around for the day evening before to enjoy the lovely venue and town. The staff at the venue made the event run so smoothly and the organisational help from Kim beforehand was second to none. Highly recommend 😊We had a fantastic wedding at the Waveney! Kim was incredible from the planning stage to the day and beyond. It's right beside the river.From the first venue visit to the end of our wedding day Kim (the Events lady) was available to answer any questions we had, even ones we thought were silly. If we wanted a meeting she made herself available. Everything was just perfect. Nothing was too much trouble. All the staff were brilliant. Our wedding day couldn't have been any more perfect. What can I say about the Waveney House Hotel..... The venue was simply amazing. I cannot recommend or praise her and her team enough and the feedback I received from our guests also incredibly favourable, food was amazing. Kim practically becomes a friend with a fountain of knowledge and advice. I guess she gets used to dealing with brides regularly but to us brides it's a rather different situation when we say goodbye to someone who has been there for us through it all. The location speaks for itself, with a glorious view of the river from the function room, and the suite of course. The food was top notch, delicious, with any dietary requirements taken care of. But what was more notable was the helpful support of Kim and her team. Particularly as an organisationally challenged person myself(!), I found Kim's help, advice, suggestions and good humour extremely welcome. She really did think of everything and made the preparations so much easier, and the staff also made us feel really special. I can only recommend this super venue. My husband and I had our wedding celebration here and it was everything we could have hoped for.
