Description

Twyning Park is an outstanding country house situated at the edge of the Cotswolds. There are 5 acres of beautiful grounds and gardens to explore and three sites available for marquees tipis or any other structure you might like! The house boasts a wealth of period features and is decorated in an elegant and understated colour palette which provides a beautiful blank canvas back drop for your celebrations. There are 7 very comfortable bedrooms sleeping up to 17 guests. Twyning Park is a flexible venue and we work with our couples and their budgets to create something that is beautiful and reflective of their story. There are no strict packages. There is no corkage to pay and you are free to use your own suppliers. Or we can organise everything for you. The choice is yours. There are three licensed ceremony spaces - The Drawing room 37 The Long room 62 ( additional space can be added with a marquee) and The Hall which is also available for outdoor ceremonies. For an outdoor ceremony couples are spoilt for choice in the beautiful gardens and grounds. Most couples choose to hire Twyning Park for 3 days and 2 nights. This allows plenty of time to get everything set up the day before and allows the guests staying in the house time to relax the evening before the wedding and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. There is no early check out the day after the wedding so if you want to continue the celebrations we recommend brunch on the terrace or a barbecue in the river meadow. The village of Twyning is easily accessible to the M5 junction 8 and M50 junction 1 ( minutes away!). There is plenty of accommodation locally including b and bs airbnbs, lodges, cottages and a Hilton hotel all within 2 miles of Twyning Park. There is a village shop and two very good pubs, one of which can be accessed from the bottom of the garden. We only hold a small number of weddings per year which allows us to build a great relationship with our couples and maintain our exclusivity.

Describe the best wedding that happened at Twyning Park?

Every wedding is different here so its really hard to choose! One of my favourites was a couple who were married in the local church and arrived to their reception by boat. They had a drinks reception in the beautiful river meadow and then moved into a stunning marquee in the garden for the wedding breakfast.
