Tullyveery House is an exclusive and intimate wedding venue nestled in the rolling drumlins of County Down, convenient to Belfast. The family-owned Georgian House and Victorian courtyard area surrounded by mature private grounds and gardens provide a stunning rural backdrop. Boasting multiple rooms for wedding receptions, we provide a blank canvas for you to have the freedom to work with your preferred suppliers to shape every aspect of your day. We provide access to the venue from lunch time the day before your wedding - providing time for you and your suppliers to come and set everything up, ensuring you go to bed the night before your wedding knowing everything is as you want it and there will be no stress on the morning of your wedding. We also provide access until lunch time the day after your wedding, allowing you to come back relaxed and rested in the morning to collect your items. Hosting one event per day, Tullyveery offers a very different experience compared to a traditional hotel wedding reception. The venue, grounds and our staff are devoted to you and your day. We offer a range of eight locations for your ceremony to be hosted on site, both indoors and outdoors. We are fully licenced by the Newry, Mourne and Down Council to hold civil wedding and partnership ceremonies. Our experienced family-lead team will ensure every detail is tailor made to your exact requirements by working closely with you in the lead up to, and on, the day which allows you to relax and celebrate knowing everything will go perfectly.

There is nothing too much trouble
We had our wedding at Tullyveery House Sept 2022. I can’t speak highly enough of Charlie and Gwen, there is nothing too much trouble, no question that is too random! We live in Sydney so from viewing to the day of the wedding they went above and beyond to make the day as simple and relaxed as possible for us, which is exactly what we wanted.All of our guests were blown away with how beautiful every aspect of the venue is, from House, walled garden, courtyard and reception, it is stunning. Such a special and incredible wedding venue
Tullyveery is such a special and incredible wedding venue. The house, courtyard, walled garden and grounds offer the perfect canvas for couples to make the day their own and knowing you have the space to yourself pre, during and post wedding gives you and your guests that feeling of intimacy and privacy as you're the only ones onsite. Tullyveery and the entire team are different
From the moment we first visited and met with Charlie, we knew this is where we wanted to have our wedding reception. Other venues we had visited felt scheduled and as though the staff showing us around were really trying to sell it to us, Tullyveery and the entire team are different. The house itself is beautiful and the gardens, courtyard, lake, view of the Mournes are just incredible. The entire team at Tullyveery are wonderful, it is evident that they love what they do.

Wonderful venue and staff couldn't be more helpful
Had a wonderful day here at my nephew's wedding early August. Couldn't fault a thing. Tullyveery staff were amazing. Special thanks to Charlie who went above and beyond to ensure my 98 yr old father, who has mobility issues, was well looked after. Wonderful venue and staff couldn't be more helpful.

Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?

That is a hard one! What we love is how every wedding is completely different, from the food to the styling. However, the best wedding would have to be my sisters, but then I may be biased!

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Make use of your venue staff - we can offer lots of suggestions and ideas which we know work well at Tullyveery.

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

There are always great little touches at every wedding. However a personal favourite was - there was a wedding cake which looked amazing from the front. But if you peeped around the back, the couple's dog (made from icing of course) was eating it's way into the cake!

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?

Now that is a question to ask if you want to start an argument! For me, it is between the swing, barley field at sunset, and overlooking the lake.
