Trump Turnberry

We chose Turnberry as the Donald Trump Ballroom is simply spectacular. The views from the hotel are truly outstanding and we loved that we could be at the hotel resort for few days before and a few days after the wedding to make the very most of our special occasion. There are so many facilities at Turnberry that our guests were able to enjoy their stay while sharing our wedding with us. After viewing the venue, we decided immediately that Turnberry was where we wanted to start our married lives together. We had 120 guests at our wedding and Turnberry’s attention to detail paired with the team’s impeccable organisation skills meant, as a bride, I was extremely relaxed and felt there was nothing I had to worry about. Our wedding planner, Calum Dewar, was amazing. He’s such a special person. Calum made my dreams come true and treated our wedding like his own. He was by-my-side every step of the way through the planning process and even walked me down the stairs on the wedding day – keeping me calm along the way. The service from the day before the wedding up until a few days after the wedding, was second-to- none. I was treated like a queen. We got married in June so decided to keep our wedding light and fresh with neutral tones. I had two wedding dresses, both were ivory based, as were my bridesmaids. Our theme was chic and romantic with light tones to compliment the outstanding décor within the ballroom. Ivory, champagne, gold and crystal were our main schemes for decor through-out. I would recommend Turnberry to anyone in search of a truly outstanding wedding venue. Our hearts are so full of beautiful memories from the most incredible day of our lives. Our wedding would not have been as special without all the help and care of the Turnberry staff –it was a real-life fairy-tale. We will always be regular guests of the hotel and feel lucky to be able to return to such an outstanding venue. Thank you Turnberry for making our dreams become reality.

From the moment I walked through the door, I fell in love with Trump Turnberry. Everyone was so welcoming from the staff at the front door to the waitresses who served us tea before we looked around – I knew instantly this is where we wanted to get married. We wanted to have our wedding in Scotland as it’s where John and I are both from. After visiting a few places nothing really compared to Turnberry in our eyes – it was the nicest venue we visited. Turnberry has everything you need in one place, which was perfect. We had 150 guests in total who attended the wedding all day. We didn’t have night guests as we wanted our wedding to be an intimate day for friends and family only. The staff at Turnberry couldn’t do anymore for us. I had two coordinators who were fantastic and made sure everything ran smoothly from the moment we arrived. My wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses were taken to be steamed as soon as we arrived and brought back quickly – nothing was too much trouble. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and each one of my guests were delighted with the hotel. Some of my guests couldn’t get to the nearest town to have their hair done and the hotel was so accommodating and took the guests to the salon – it was the added extras that made our day extra special for everyone involved. I would highly recommend Turnberry, it’s my favourite place and I wish we lived closer to Scotland to return as often as possible. The views, the location, the food, everything was perfect – I don’t have one fault and the staff are incredible. I still have friends saying the food is the best they’ve ever tasted. The Donald J. Trump Ballroom is a real fairytale room – it’s breathtaking.

From the moment we contacted Trump Turnberry with out initial enquiry to the moment we left the day after our wedding, we were blown away by venue, the setting and the level of service we received by the fantastic staff. Nothing is ever too much trouble, every query we had was dealt efficiently, professionally and with a smile. At our initial meeting we were highly impressed with the organisational skills, friendly manner and willingness to allow us, the client, to take control in how we wanted our day to flow. Calum and his team’s attention to detail is unparalleled and nothing was left to chance, consulting my wife and myself throughout the planning stages and liaising seamlessly with our external suppliers. The staff at Trump Turnberry dealt with every last detail which meant we could enjoy our wedding in the knowledge that everything was in safe hands. The hotel itself is just stunning, the rooms are superbly appointed and the ball room is spectacular with stunning vistas over the Atlantic. The menu tasting is a real highlight, being in the kitchen with the professional chefs as they prepare your food was an experience that will live long in the memory. The hardest thing is deciding on which course to select as everything is absolutely delicious. The dining experience at Trump Turnberry is second to none. Every guest commented on how delicious the food was, so much so we were informed that this was the best wedding food our guests had ever eaten and they were in awe at the military precision with which it was prepared and served. Our guests had ordered in the region of 150 steaks and every single one was cooked to perfection to each of our guests specific requirements and each table served in unison. We cannot commend the hotel and staff highly enough, everything was absolutely perfect which is testament to the hard work, dedication of the friendly staff that worked tirelessly to ensure that our day was just perfect. We will definitely be returning to Trump Turnberry for many years to reflect on our day, safe in the knowledge that we will always be shown the warmest of welcomes. We would recommend anyone who is looking for that special venue to host their wedding to look no further than Turnberry, it is absolute perfection in every way.
