The Venue hire includes exclusive use of The Riverside Glasshouse which includes the dining area with space from 30 - 120 for seated dining experiences & up to 150 guests for the evening reception. The use of our indoor botanical garden (The Temperate house) for your ceremony & dancing in the evening. A separate room to meet with your Registrars. We are also in the middle of a stunning park with river views and amazing photo opportunities all around.

All of our weddings are catered for by our in-house catering team. We offer varied styles of dining to include formal dining or sociable dining. Evening food is served street food style and all of our food is cooked on-site by our Executive Chef Russell Blackwell and his team of amazing Chefs.
We are masters at catering for special dietary requirements and ensure we make each guest feel like a VIP.
Our front of house service team are second to none, if great service is important to you on your wedding day we will not disappoint.

Licensed for up to 120 for a civil ceremony, your guests will be blown away by the stunning views of the river and gardens as they enjoy drinks on the terrace. The most perfect day at the most perfect venue
Steven & his team at the glasshouse were amazing from the very first contact right through the day itself.
We visited & emailed & called so many times up to the day just to check details and ask questions, every time either Steven or his very friendly team put us at ease and were totally in control of what was going on :)
The day came round & honestly absolutely everything was perfect! The whole team make sure that the day runs to your plan & just like clockwork, so we just got to enjoy every second of it & enjoy spending time with our guests. Steven also made sure that we got to enjoy a few snatched moments together and took us away for quiet cocktails here & there to check in with each other. These were some of the best moments as you could just watch the magic going on.
Then theres the food! Wow! So so delicious!
All in all, a fantastic day that was framed and delivered by an awesome team in Steven and the glasshouse staff. Couldn’t recommend enough

Wow, what a lovely review..... I will never forget seeing your photographer taking pictures of you both as the sun was setting after your pictures by the blue bridge, the perfect shot caught the reflection of the sun in Emma's eye's at just the right moment (Andy when someone looks at you like that, you know you have struck gold). How lucky were you both with the weather for this amazing December wedding day.

The perfect venue
The perfect venue. That is the easiest way to describe our experience working with the team at The Riverside Glasshouse for our Wedding Day.
The venue itself is simply beautiful, and the perfect choice for an autumn wedding, situated in the centre of Jephson Gardens.
Steve is amazing to work with, offering continuous support and encouragement throughout the whole process leading up to and including the wedding day. A clear professional, with a passion for helping make your day as special as possible.
On the day – the team were fantastic and ensured everything went as planned, so we didn’t have to worry about a thing! They make sure you are taken care of on your big day!
As well as the amazing service by Steve and his team, the food was a hit with all our guests.
Not only did it look incredible and taste delicious, but with Steve’s help and direction we were also able to accommodate a wide range of dietary requirements – so everyone was safe, comfortable, and had plenty to eat!
All our guests have only been offering the highest praise for the venue, staff, and food.
And we too can’t recommend it highly enough.

The best day ever
Where to start! Wow just wow… Steven and the team truly do make your wedding dreams come true. From the day we first saw the venue and met Steven we knew we had found the perfect venue. Simply perfect
We got married at the Riverside Glasshouse in October and had the best day. We fell in love with this unique venue whilst having a picnic in the park and once we had chosen it we knew it would be perfect for us. Steven and his team were so helpful and responsive in the run up to the day and made us feel so comfortable. The wedding day was so amazing and we were truly able to enjoy every moment of it and this was down to how well everything was run by the venue. The food was fabulous and so many people on the day and after have told us it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. We cannot thank Steven and his team enough for making sure everything ran so smoothly and we really had such a wonderful day -we would highly recommend this venue to anyone.

We got married at the Riverside Glasshouse 23rd Sep 2022.
It was the best decision we have ever made.
Steven and his team were beyond accommodating and supportive throughout the whole process. On the day, we didn't have to worry about a thing, everything was taken care of with exceptional standards.
All of our guests went out of their way to comment on the outstanding service and delicious cuisine. The unique surroundings and beautiful back drops allowed for our photographer and videographer to capture some of the most incredible footage.
Unlike a lot of typical wedding venues nowadays, the Glasshouse is entirely flexible to your desires and dreams.
We would not recommend this venue enough, everything about our day was perfection.
We want to do it all over again!

Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
This is impossible, all of our weddings are amazing for different reasons but the most common is seeing our couples friends and family come together passing food around the table from our sociable dining menus as though they were at home, we want our guests to feel relaxed and remember the day for all of the right reasons.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Start to visit venues as soon as you can & meet the people who will be looking after you, as that's when the majority of questions are answered... allowing you to start enjoying planning your special day.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
The singing waiters were amazing as the guests had no idea that the waiters who had been serving their drinks would burst into song, we did also have Chinese dancing dragons which was very impressive.

Unique, contemporary, stunning, beautiful, tasty
Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
Amongst the tropical plants in Temperate House however photographers really are spoilt for choice in and around Jephson Gardens
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
Not specifically at our venue, but just so you know, every Client is a celebrity at The Riverside Glasshouse. We have, however, worked with many celebrities as Private Clients and also at some of the venues that we work with. In the last five years, our MD Steven holland has looked after the Queen on two occasions. We have also worked with several Celebrity Chefs along the way...
What’s your favourite canapé?
Arancini balls or maybe, Parma ham, mozzarella and sun-blushed tomato croûte or should I say vegan rainbow spring rolls (VG).... Hard to say, no sorry I can't make up my mind.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Chef Russell's own recipe KFC - Korean Fried Chicken or maybe the meatballs marinara with short (no mess) spaghetti and parmesan, we serve all of our evening food Streetfood style, no messy buffets at The Riverside Glasshouse...
What is your venue's most unique feature?
The views of the park and the riverside location are unbeatable and not many venues can boast their very own indoor botanical garden to hold ceremonies in or dance the night away in. Did you know that our aisle has it's very own pond and stunning plants from all over the world.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
We are proud of way we have supported our clients through the Covid-19 pandemic, we have only had two cancellations because we stopped taking new bookings in 2020 so that we could preserve suitable dates for our existing VIP clients to postpone if they needed to. All of our couples were calm and it felt like we have been in this difficult time together, it is so nice to see them all getting married as we move through 2022. The biggest unique selling point for our business is our people, not a wedding goes buy without thank you letters and emails coming in from our couples and their families
