Built from six types of Cotswold stone, this unique 4 Red Star country house hotel is set in the heart of a 40 acre estate and has been the ancestral seat of the Shirley family since 1086.
Our Stratford wedding venue is licensed for civil ceremonies and partnerships, we have areas for outdoor wedding ceremonies and yours will be the only wedding at Ettington Park on your chosen date.
We will be your trusted partner by your side every step of the way and can advise on everything from making a spectacular arrival to enjoying the last dance of the evening, and on the day itself our specialist events team will ensure everything runs seamlessly with meticulous attention to detail, leaving you free to treasure each magical moment.

We have three packages for you to choose from so suit your intimate day or grand celebrations, we can cater from 10 guests to 150 guests. With three packages, our Intimate Package, our Ettington Package and our Exclusive Package we have something to suit everyone.
Our Ettington Package starts at £9,000 to include the venue hire, bridal changing room, welcome drinks and canapes, three course wedding menu with menu tasting, evening street food and more.

The entire process, beginning when we first started planning a year earlier, was seamless. Becky, our event coordinator at the hotel, was amazing: knowledgeable, patient, responsive, and accommodating of all our requests. She made it possible for us to plan a wedding without even living in the country and without a wedding planner. The venue itself is naturally beautiful. The hotel has an old-English charm that all of our guests loved, and the rooms are spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. One of the true highlights of the venue is the grounds. We hosted both our welcome dinner and wedding ceremony outside, making full use of the gorgeous Orangery space. While the setting is already stunning on its own, it also gave our florist and design team the freedom to be creative and make the space feel truly personal. On the day itself, our wedding was run by an exceptional onsite team, including Roberto and Lily. They allowed us to be fully present and enjoy every moment of our wedding day. They helped our guests with anything they needed, made sure all of our vendors had the support and assistance required, and worked closely with them to create beautiful spaces. They were also creative and discreet in finding solutions to any issues that arose, without ever disturbing us. The food was exceptional. We were truly well fed with high-quality food from the minute we arrived until the moment we left. In addition to executing the delicious menu we had agreed in advance, the team also helped bring custom requests to life, including a tiramisu tower that was highly praised by our guests. We cannot recommend Ettington Park Hotel highly enough. It was the perfect setting for our wedding, and the team went above and beyond to make the entire experience feel effortless, joyful, and unforgettable. Having one consistent point of contact gave us real confidence and made the experience feel incredibly well managed. The planning process was relatively straightforward overall, with only a few minor bumps around understanding room choices and setting room prices for guests, but these were resolved quickly and professionally during a meeting with our coordinator. The staff throughout the hotel were exceptional — friendly, approachable and genuinely warm, while still remaining highly professional and polished at all times. On the wedding day itself, nothing was too much trouble. Every request was handled with flexibility and ease, which helped us feel relaxed and fully able to enjoy the day. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, and the rooms are beautiful. One thing that particularly impressed us was the organisation behind the scenes. Many of our guests stayed the night before and then moved into different suites on the wedding night, and the hotel staff seamlessly transferred all belongings between rooms without a single issue. It’s the kind of logistical detail that some venues would really struggle with, but Ettington Park handled it flawlessly. Another huge positive was the flexibility around the bridal suite. There was no strict access time, so I was able to stay in the suite the night before the wedding, and hair and make-up artists were able to arrive from 6am without any problems at all. Our costs vary with a range of customisable options to suit different budgets and preferences. The cost of our weddings depend on the package and requirements you choose, ranging from an intimate package at £2,200 for 10 guests, the Ettington Package from £9,000 to our Exclusive Use package from £18,000.
How long can you hold a date?
At Ettington Park Hotel, we typically hold dates for a limited time, usually 7 days. To secure your preferred date, we recommend contacting our wedding team as soon as possible. Once the contract has been signed and the non-refunable deposit payment has been made, your date will be officially reserved.
What’s the maximum guest limit at your venue?
The maximum guest limit at Ettington Park's is 100 people for the ceremony and wedding breakfast and up to 150 for the evening reception. Our experienced wedding team will work with you to accommodate your guest list comfortably.
Do you offer discounted group rates for wedding guests?
Yes, Ettington Park Hotel has 47 rooms and and as part of your wedding package you can offer your wedding guests who wish to book accommodation a special rate.
Will there be other guests sharing the space with my wedding?
We understand the importance of exclusivity for your special day. At Ettington Park, the option of exclusive use is available, which ensures that you and your guests have the sole use of the venue for your wedding. Our two smaller packages do not offer exclusive use.
