Leading up to your day:
• Our team is available to answer all your questions whenever you need them. The most common thing we hear is “we’ve never done this before” so no question is one too many.
• We will invite you for an evening or afternoon of group food tastings, so you can sample items from our menu to help you choose your wedding breakfast.
• Onsite meeting with your wedding coordinator to go through your day step by step so you feel confident about how your day will be run.
On your day:
• Exclusive use of all function rooms and gardens at The Ravenswood from Midday – Midnight
• Access to the Getting Ready Room from 8am until your ceremony so you can get ready with your attendants
• A Wedding Coordinator onsite with you through the whole day and into the evening
• Licensed indoor or outdoor space for your ceremony
• A celebratory drink and canapés to be served after your ceremony
• Your chosen three course wedding breakfast for you and all your guests
• Up to half a bottle of house wine per person to be served during your meal
• A glass of prosecco served for speeches

Whether you are getting married, converting your civil partnership or holding a civil partnership ceremony, we would love to host your ceremony or reception.

We want your day to be about you, which is why we only offer exclusive hire of the venue spaces. Or if you truly want to become lord or lady of the manor, you can exclusively hire the entire manor, giving you 34 ensuite bedrooms for you and your guests to enjoy.
We have 3 function rooms for use during the different parts of your day. The Princess Beatrice Suite (named after the daughter of Queen Victoria, who once lived here), The Jacobean Room and The Baronial Hall (the original 15th Century site of the building). These seat up to 150 guests for your wedding breakfast and up to 300 guests for your evening reception.
Our stunning 18 acres of grounds contain a pavilion, 4 lakes, ruins, bridges, pleasure gardens and even a giant chair. Our owner has 10 years of experience as a wedding photographer and so has ensured a fabulous selection of picturesque spots for your photographs.

The most perfect day
We recently held our wedding at the gorgeous Ravenswood and could not have been happier with our choice. The Ravenswood was our first and only choice of venue when we got engaged and on visiting and meeting the lovely Gemma we knew it was meant to be. Not only is the venue and the grounds stunning the team are fantastic. I’d like to say a special thank you to our wonderful wedding coordinator Gemma who made us feel at ease from the very first day. No question or task was ever too big, Gemma listened and guided us through the entire planning process and went above and beyond to ensure the day ran smoothly.
All staff are welcoming and very helpful, but Gemma by far is the one that sealed the deal with our booking The Ravenswood for our wedding.
I cannot put into words truly how magical our day was and how accommodating the staff were. Even when the DJ cancelled moments before they were due, not only did the team immediately find a solution but they ensured neither myself or husband knew about this until the party was over to prevent us from panicking! I would recommend the Ravenswood in a heartbeat!

Exceeded our wildest dreams
Wow wow wow… what a venue, what a wedding. If I could renew my vowels every year at this venue, it still wouldn’t be enough, as I wish I could relive the day over and over.
From the first consultation, to the wedding date, everything was handled with care and precision, and it was clear that The Ravenswood team clearly all love their job.
We were lucky enough to have Katie as our coordinator, and there honestly aren’t enough lovely words that can describe this girl. She was just perfect. Her attention to detail, the way she made us feel relaxed on the day, nothing was too much. She was an angel!
Seriously can’t recommend this place enough. The food, the venue, the care taken, the whole team. Seriously, EVERYONE should get married at this venue!!

The perfect day!
What can I say. Myself and my new husband had an amazing day on the 12th of October this year!
From planning the day, the final meeting and then the big day it was 100%.
Every detail was thought out and every guest mentioned what a fabulous location and venue it was. The honeymoon suite was an added bonus. The bed was very comfortable!

Was a magical day
From the moment we visited the venue, we instantly fell in love and knew it was the venue for us. It fitted perfectly with our theme being beauty and the beast and being able to get married in the little castle made it extra special.
The staff were absolutely fantastic and extremely helpful.
The food was delicious.
The location was remarkable and having 33 rooms for guests was great.
We had Natalie as our wedding coordinator and she was extremely helpful with all the questions and random things we asked about. She was extremely helpful from start to finish. She made me feel at ease the morning of the wedding and helped with the set up of the venue. She was fantastic and made sure our day ran smoothly.
Everyone keeps saying how fantastic our wedding was and it’s one to remember.
I strongly recommend the ravenswood!!!

Wedding bliss
We had an amazing wedding day at The Ravenswood. From the minute we visited we knew it was where we wanted to get married & that we’d be looked after. The whole team were amazingly organised & supportive. An extra special thanks to Gemma who was our coordinator & ensured everything went smoothly on the day. One of our guests commented that every time they saw her she was sprinting across the grass! Which just goes to show how hard working she is and how she kept everything running seamlessly. Gemma was very approachable and friendly and put everyone at ease.
We really, really appreciated everything that was done for us and I would not hesitate to recommend Ravenswood to anyone.

Describe the best wedding that happened at The Ravenswood?
All of our weddings are wonderful but one that is close to our hearts is when Sam, one of our owners got married at The Ravenswood. It was a beautiful sunny day in May (the same day Meghan married Harry!) and seeing so many of Sam and Garion's friends, family and all the staff of The Ravenswood come together to celebrate the happy couple was truly magical!

What is The Ravenswood most unique feature?
The Little Castle which is licensed for outside ceremonies really is our pièce de résistance. It's intimate, it's stunning and so romantic. Just take a look at our photos to see for yourself.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
There are so many parts we are proud of here at The Ravenswood. We do love showing off our wonderful Getting Ready Room, our newly refurbished Jacobean Suite and our stunning Princess Beatrice Suite which overlooks the wonderful gardens and lakes. If we had to choose one..it would be our team. We all LOVE weddings and it shows in everything we do, from the Wedding Consultants, to the gardeners, chefs, housekeepers and marketing team!
