Our wedding at The Ravenswood was truly the best day of our lives, and we honestly couldn’t recommend this venue enough 💕 From the moment we found The Ravenswood on Bridebook, we knew it was something special. We arranged a viewing and, as soon as we walked through the venue, we completely fell in love. Even completely stripped back, it’s absolutely stunning. The scenery is breathtaking, and every room has that real “wow” factor. We didn’t need any more convincing, we booked our wedding on the very same day! In the months leading up to our wedding, I was in regular contact with the team, especially the Accommodation Team. Every email was met with kindness, patience, and reassurance. No request ever felt like too much trouble, and they made the whole process so easy. Thank you to the Reception Team - you absolutely smashed it! We were also invited to a food tasting before the big day, and from that moment I knew our guests were in for a treat. On the wedding day, the food exceeded every expectation. We had so many compliments from our guests about every course. A huge thank you to the chefs and catering team for keeping everyone’s bellies full and happy! Thank you as well to all the staff who worked so hard throughout the day, everything ran so smoothly and professionally. The biggest thank you, however, has to go to our incredible wedding coordinator, Natalie. From the very beginning, Natalie was so welcoming, kind, gentle, and genuinely caring. I know coordinating weddings is her job every single day, but she somehow made us feel like we were the only couple that mattered. No question was ever too silly, no request was ever too much, and she was always there whenever we needed her. Throughout the entire day she checked in on us constantly, making sure we were happy and asking if there was anything else she could do. Whenever I asked for something, it was done immediately. Our venue styling was done by Mulberry Events, but I also had lots of my own personal touches that needed placing around the venue and on the tables. Natalie absolutely nailed every single detail. While I was getting ready, I never once felt stressed because I trusted her and the whole team completely. Everything was set up exactly as I’d imagined, and even better than I could have hoped. Our wedding was honestly the best day of our lives, and we’re still talking about it. We cannot thank The Ravenswood team enough for everything they did. The absolute perfect wedding venue! We got married here in June 2026, and it was everything we could have asked for. During the planning process, they were incredibly helpful, answering all 101 questions I sent them. As a bride, you don't always know what you need to ask, but they were always there to make sure everything was well organised and that any confusion was quickly sorted out. Our wedding coordinator, Evie, was amazing throughout the planning process and incredible on the day, making everything as relaxed as possible, ensuring everything was set up to match our vision, and simply making it the best day ever. I would absolutely recommend The Ravenswood to anyone looking for a magical wedding day! The ManningsThe absolute perfect wedding venue! I honestly can’t thank The Ravenswood enough. They helped make our day the most special day it could be, they take control over the day so that you can have the best day of your lives. The venue is absolutely stunning and all of our guests said that it’s the most beautiful venue they have been too. We will never ever forget what our wedding coordinator Georgia did for us, she was so calm and collected and as a control freak myself, she was excellent with dealing with everyone in such an efficient and friendly way. We are so lucky that we had our wedding there and hope to god that one of our friends get married there so that we can experience The Ravenswood again. Thank you endlessly! I honestly can’t thank The Ravenswood enough. They helped make our day the most special day it could be, they take control over the day so that you can have the best day of your lives. Everything went so perfectly, and Natalie went above and beyond to make us feel like we were the only couple in the world getting married. We stayed in the cottage the night before and ordered from the takeaway menu. The food was delicious, and sitting out in the courtyard on a sunny evening with our family are memories we'll treasure forever. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the shower was amazing, and there was both an iron and a steamer, which made it so easy to put the finishing touches on the dresses and the boys' shirts. We had an early start on the wedding morning, but because we used suppliers who regularly work with The Ravenswood, we were able to access the getting-ready room early. It was just a short walk from the cottage, making everything so easy. The boys also had a late checkout from the cottage, where they got ready before walking over just before the ceremony. All of the decorations and personal touches we had brought were simply left on a table in the hall for Natalie to set up. It completely took the pressure off my bridal party and allowed us to fully enjoy our morning together. It was also so special being able to see the wedding breakfast room all set up first thing—it really hits you that it's finally happening! A full English breakfast was brought up to us, which was lovely. Although, because of the nerves, not much of it got eaten—exactly the same happened with the boys' breakfast in the cottage! The whole morning ran impeccably. Natalie worked so seamlessly with all of our suppliers to make sure everything was absolutely perfect. Just before I walked down the aisle, Natalie checked in on me, and the timing of the aisle walk was spot on. After the ceremony, our confetti walk was brilliantly organised by our photographer, celebrant and Natalie. We then slipped away for ten minutes to enjoy our first Long Island Iced Tea as a married couple. This is something The Ravenswood encourages, and I honestly think it's one of the best ideas. It gave us a chance to take everything in before returning to celebrate with everyone else. Having our photographs taken around the grounds was such an amazing experience, and I can't wait to receive them. The Ravenswood is one of the most picturesque wedding venues. We also had Mulberry dress the venue and try out their new content creation service, so we're really excited to see those memories too. The canapés and cocktails were fantastic, and every single one of our guests commented on how delicious the wedding breakfast was. We also chose to have a toastmaster, which was a brilliant addition. His booming voice certainly kept everyone organised! That said, if we hadn't had him, I know Natalie would have done an equally fantastic job. Throughout the drinks reception, wedding breakfast and room turnaround, our Spotify playlist played exactly as we had planned, helping to create the relaxed atmosphere we wanted for the whole day. When Natalie finished for the day, Molly took over for the evening. She was just as lovely, and it was nice to have already met her the evening before while we were staying in the cottage. The in-house DJ was absolutely incredible. I genuinely couldn't recommend him highly enough. We were on the dance floor all night, and so were so many of our guests! One thing we had noticed at previous weddings was long queues at the bar, so we requested an extra member of staff behind the bar. It made such a difference, and several of our guests even commented afterwards on how quickly they were served. It really elevated the experience. Our wedding day truly couldn't have been any more perfect. Every single member of staff played a part in making it everything we had dreamed of and more. Thank you, Natalie, Molly and the entire Ravenswood team for giving us the most incredible day. As soon as we saw the Ravenswood we knew it was the venue for us. The grounds are stunning and Evie our wedding coordinator was absolutely amazing. Nothing was too much and somehow even though not obvious whenever I had a question Evie was there. It runs so smoothly and effortless that is of course because of all the hard work put in. Our day was perfect and I wish I could do it all over again. As soon as we saw the Ravenswood we knew it was the venue for us. The grounds are stunning and Evie our wedding coordinator was absolutely amazing. Nothing was too much and somehow even though not obvious whenever I had a question Evie was there. We had our wedding at the Ravenswood on 25 May 2026, and I can honestly say that it was the most magical day. From booking the venue in 2023, the staff at the Ravenswood have been so helpful and accommodating - nothing was ever too much trouble (including finding extra fans on the hottest May Day on record, which we really appreciate!) and they found a way to make everything work how we wanted it to. Everything we needed was included in our package, with the option to choose extras. We really liked that the honeymoon suite and the DJ were included in the package - not many other places offered this. The booking process was easy, and again the team were so accommodating throughout. Steve the DJ, in particular, was brilliant and had everyone on their feet all night! We do have to thank, in particular, Georgia Heath, our wedding coordinator, who was a complete standout. Not only was she absolutely lovely, but she was fantastic at organising everything. She let me help when I wanted to and then took over to handle and finish everything when needed. The day ran so smoothly and perfectly, and I put this down to her! The venue speaks for itself; it is so beautiful, and all our guests loved walking through the grounds. The food was amazing, and the team were excellent when it came to dietary requirements. Again, nothing was too much trouble. We are so glad that we booked the Ravenswood, and we would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who is currently looking to book their wedding. The venue speaks for itself; it is so beautiful, and all our guests loved walking through the grounds. The food was amazing, and the team were excellent when it came to dietary requirements. Again, nothing was too much trouble. We are so glad that we booked the Ravenswood, and we would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who is currently looking to book their wedding.

We had our day at The Ravenswood and it was the best day ever. Dawn helped the day run smoothly and there was never anything too much to ask for! We stayed the night before in The Rosewood Cottage which was beautiful. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone and everyone. Our wedding day at the Ravenswood was nothing short of magical, from our very first tour with liz showing us the grounds and learning the Ravenswood is so flexible and truly want you to have your day your way. a truly unforgettable experience that exceeded every hope and dream we had imagined. From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by beauty, warmth, and an atmosphere that felt almost otherworldly. The venue itself provided the most stunning backdrop, elegant, romantic, and full of charm, creating the perfect setting for such a meaningful and special day in our lives. Every detail was handled with such care and precision that we were able to fully relax and soak in each and every moment. The entire day flowed seamlessly, with everything running exactly as planned, allowing us to focus on what truly mattered: celebrating our love with our closest family and friends. There was never a moment of stress or uncertainty, only joy, laughter, and the overwhelming feeling that we were exactly where we were meant to be. A huge part of what made our day so incredibly special was our amazing coordinator, Evie. She went above and beyond in every possible way, ensuring that everything was perfect from beginning to end. Especially as a bride having a nervous moment before walking down the aisle Her calm presence, attention to detail, and genuine care made all the difference. She anticipated our needs before we even had to ask and handled everything with professionalism, kindness, and such warmth. Knowing she was there gave us complete peace of mind throughout. The staff at the Ravenswood were equally wonderful in every sense. Every single person we encountered was friendly, attentive, and truly dedicated to making our day as special as it could possibly be. Their passion for what they do shines through so clearly, creating an atmosphere that felt warm, welcoming, and filled with love from start to finish. It meant so much to feel so cared for. As the day came to an end, it was impossible not to feel a sense of sadness that something so beautiful had passed so quickly. After so many months of planning, it all felt like it was over in the blink of an eye. Yet alongside that sadness is an overwhelming sense of gratitude for everything we experienced together that day. We have been given the most incredible memories, moments that we will cherish for the rest of our lives, and we owe so much of that to the Ravenswood and its amazing team. They didn’t just give us a venue, they gave us an experience we will never forget. The perfect venue for the perfect dayThe perfect venue for the perfect day
This was the perfect venue for us to share the best day of our lives together. We got married on Sunday and the weather held out brilliantly for us and graced us with perfect lighting for the grounds and surroundings to get married at the little castle. I had arranged for the rings to be flown in by owl so the castle was the ideal setting. There was lots of flowers blooming around the lake for photo opportunities. The venue and our wedding co-ordinator Georgia were amazing throughout the whole day. We were extremely pleased with how smoothly they made it. The lamb for mains was perfect with a very generous portion and the cheesecake was deliciously smooth and creamy. All of our weddings are wonderful but one that is close to our hearts is when Sam, one of our owners got married at The Ravenswood. It was a beautiful sunny day in May (the same day Meghan married Harry!) and seeing so many of Sam and Garion's friends, family and all the staff of The Ravenswood come together to celebrate the happy couple was truly magical!

Remember, it's about you and your partner. As long as there is love...all the rest will fall in place!

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

We've seen so many special moments here at The Ravenswood, but seeing the couples dogs walk down the aisle with the wedding rings has to be our favourite!

What’s your favourite canapé?

The Chef does make an amazing Chilli Chicken and Coriander Patties with Sweet Chilli Sauce!

Ice-cream!

What is your venue's most unique feature?

The Little Castle which is licensed for outside ceremonies really is our pièce de résistance. It's intimate, it's stunning and so romantic. Just take a look at our photos to see for yourself.

What part of your business are you most proud of?

There are so many parts we are proud of here at The Ravenswood. We do love showing off our wonderful Getting Ready Room, our newly refurbished Jacobean Suite and our stunning Princess Beatrice Suite which overlooks the wonderful gardens and lakes. If we had to choose one..it would be our team. We all LOVE weddings and it shows in everything we do, from the Wedding Consultants, to the gardeners, chefs, housekeepers and marketing team!
