Our wedding day was nothing short of a dream one true and we owe a huge part of that to the beauty of the lakeside and the brilliant team that work there. The lakeside stole our hearts from the first moment we laid eyes on it. Nestled in breathtaking surroundings, it provided the perfect backdrop for our special day. The lush fields and serene lake created an enchanting atmosphere that left both us and our guests in awe. The venues team went above and beyond to ensure the setting was immaculate, leaving no stone unturned in preparing every detail. The wedding planner we collaborated with through Fields and Festoons was an absolute superstar. From our first meeting it was clear that Hannah was very professional and had a passion for creating unforgettable events. She listened attentively to our ideas and desires, guiding us through the planning process with expertise and a keen eye for detail. Her knowledge, experience and creativity helped us add unique touches that made our wedding stand out. Communication with Hannah was seamless, and she was always available to address any questions or concerns we had. She helped to navigate us through the various aspects from providing a suppliers list to coordinating the timeline, making the whole experience less stressful and more enjoyable. On the big day everything unfolded like a fairy tale, the team had helped us set up everything and the execution was flawless. Hannah managed the event with grace and ensured each element flowed seamlessly. Her presence provided a sense of reassurance allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the joy of the day. Absolutely beautiful venue. Ideal for an outside summer wedding, it fit our vision for what we wanted on the day perfectly. The team were fantastic from the initial communication and questions, support throughout the planning process (Hannah is so knowledgeable) and then faultless on the day itself including set up and take down. What you get is incredible value for money and they burden some of the stress of wedding planning so it became an enjoyable process. We had a magical day, all our guests enjoyed themselves and we would do it all again if we could. Some of services that really stood out for us were the level of communication, the check ins to make sure we had considered everything (and there were lots of details that we just hadn't thought about), the support with set up and the fact that Hannah will liaise directly with the suppliers on your behalf and the actual wedding package itself. The wedding package on paper does not do it justice - the views and the space speaks for itself but at nighttime it's taken to a whole other level which was magical. And on a side note I've never come across such incredible toilets! Thank you for a fantadtic day!

We had our wedding day at The Lakeside in August 2021 and I honestly wish we could do it all over again. The venue hadn’t actually opened for weddings yet but the team took everything in their stride when we asked if we could hold our wedding with them with only 6 weeks to plan it! Nothing was too much to ask for and the team couldn’t do enough to make the day perfect for us. They go above and beyond and make the whole experience really personal with special little touches. The whole day did exceed all expectations and everything came together perfectly! It really was the best day and would not have been possible without all of there hard work. Ourselves and all of our guests had a wonderful time and we couldn’t praise the venue enough. We live locally and it will always be a special place to us. Thank you so much again!
