Here at woodland Manor, we can offer an exclusive or non-exclusive weddings. Both packages are based on a weekday during the off peak seasons.
Our venue with a heart offering has been created to battle the cost of living crisis that is impacting so many of us. We believe that couples in love should be able to legally bind and celebrate their lifelong commitment to each other, despite the rising cost of living. Woodland Manor Hotel have therefore created an astonishing £1999 wedding package, making your dream day become a reality.
Our usual package price starts from £4000 which is based on 30 guests to privately hire one of our smaller function rooms all day and evening. This package is for non-exclusive use and includes canapes, a 3-course sit down meal, prosecco arrival and toast drinks, 2 bottles of wine on each wedding breakfast table, and an evening buffet option.
Our exclusive package gives you private access to all function rooms and communal areas including our lounge and bar. As well as 34 bedrooms (including breakfast the next day) and a spacious bridal suite. This includes the same additional charges but is based on 90 guests as this is our maximum capacity in our largest function room.
We also do offer a complimentary wedding tasting where you can try 3 starters, 3 mains and 2 desserts.

Woodland Manor offers both exclusive and non-exclusive bookings for weddings. With three function rooms, a grand Foyer, a stunning Bridal suite and 34 bedrooms we can personalise you’re wedding to exactly what you and your partner want.
Licensed to hold both civil ceremonies and civil partnerships throughout our three function rooms, our Autograph suite, Library and Conservatory all make stunning venues depending on your guest numbers. All our function rooms offer a unique personality with high ceilings, soft lighting and a view of our picture-perfect grounds outside.
Despite our secluded location, we offer uncomplicated access to many major cities, including Cambridge, London and Oxford. Woodland Manor is located just two miles from Bedford town centre and the well-connected local train station. We are easy to get to and from the A1 and M1, and have free parking for over 100 guests.
We are very proud of the extremely high level of service that we provide our guests, with our experienced team offering friendly and professional assistance. Our attentive but unobtrusive wedding co-ordinators will be on hand every step of the way to ensure that your special day goes just the way you want it.
We specialise in bespoke events, and no two weddings are the same at our manor house venue. We take great care to understand the needs of the happy couple, allowing us to tailor weddings accordingly. At Woodland Manor, we never hold more than one service a day – yours will be the sole focus of our attention.

The Best Day Ever!
I can not thank this beautiful venue and it’s staff enough! Our day was beautiful and flawless! We had exclusive hire and all rooms booked by guests and it was perfect! We stayed from Friday to Sunday and can not find fault in anything! The rooms are beautiful and comfy the food is great and the staff can’t do enough for you and all your guests! It really is a hidden gem this hotel and the grounds are so beautiful too!

Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
I wouldn't say it is the best wedding but definitely one of the most memorable was the 1st weddings after lockdown. We've had a lot of couples booked with us who have had to postpone once or twice sometimes more. The team here were reunited doing what we love which was emotional in itself. But seeing family all in one room being able to celebrate was really special. To be honest this feeling hasn't worn off yet, somehow lock down has made weddings even more emotional! We are so attached to these couples and have been on a huge journey with them to get to their wedding day, so seeing their dream day finally able to come to life has been real honour and highlight.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Remember it is your day, don't lose sight of this. Choose exactly what you both want and have the day just as how you want it. That way it will be perfect for you.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
We had a wedding in the autumn where the groom chose the brides entry music, with our help and it was a surprise! Not sure I would have trusted my husband with that but it was beautiful. The bride was so moved by his choice, as were the guests.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
We have quite a few! But my personal Favourite is by our beautiful stained glass window! It is simply stunning!
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
We had a footballer, Steve Bull from Wolverhampton Wanderers. Before he came I had no idea who he was! He was so lovely and friendly, the bride organised it as a surprise for her husband! amazing. Their were quite a few fans amount the wedding guests too so everyone was thrilled!
What is your venue's most unique feature?
I think the flexibility, a lot of couple are surprised at how flexible we can be and also what is included (yes I know that's two!), we build every package from scratch with our couples wedding vision at the very centre. A greater proportion of local venues have quite fixed packages and offerings. We can change a majority of things available and have a very enthusiastic chef who loves making unique yummy food so can change our menus to suit you. By having a lot included that gives you more pennies to spend on other stuff!
What part of your business are you most proud of?
I've asked the owner Raj this one as I wondered what his thoughts were. This is what he said 'For me as the owner what makes me proud is seeing the pure joy and happiness happening around me at the hotel, being able to be the host some of the most important days of peoples lives is a real privilege. Seeing the hard work the team put in, paying off, making such special memories for people fills me with such pride.'
