This is a great place for weddings.

My husband and I had a small wedding reception here last month, and everything was above and beyond what you'd expect from a pub wedding! Everyone was talking about how great the food was. Big shout-out to Charlotte who looked after us very well. This is a great place for weddings.

A home from home - cosy sofa spaces, outdoor garden spaces, plenty of room for everyone and a lively calendar of events. Staff are super friendly and cover a large venue very well. There’s a good wine selection by the glass and they take good care with their cocktails

We got married in a church nearby and hired the garden and dining area of The Honor Oak Pub for the reception in July. Wonderful Lebanese style salads and selection of grilled meats for all the guests, with a little outdoor drinks area. Very special memories, Thank you Eddie and Charlotte and all the team, from Natalie and James.

Had a great time when I went to this pub with my friend. Imo the bartender was super friendly and helpful. She recommended me the fries which were delicious and the wine selection was decent. It’s lively and has a great atmosphere.

I'd recommend for any event

Our much loved local pub. Amazing staff, lovely interior, feels like home. Great vegan food offering, beer garden at the front and back of the pub. Cozy atmosphere and we hosted an event here which I would really recommend.

Beatiful outdoors area

Brilliant outside area, live band on a Sunday. Indoor decor really cool.

I attended a wedding here last month and I have to say I was taken by surprise with how nice the entire event was. Definitely a hidden gem!

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

There's been many but one that stood out was when a couple decided instead of a guest book they were going to have an old school phone to record the guests messages/ words of wisdom onto. I thought it was quite unique and definitely will be borrowing the idea for my own wedding!
