We operate on a minimum spend basis (food and drink) plus a 12.5% discretionary service charge, and do not charge any room hire or venue fees. Our minimum spend varies depends on the day and season with Friday & Saturday receptions only available during the months of June, July, August and December. You can also privately hire our courtyard for an additional £1500 on top of your minimum spend.
With access from our courtyard, The Boston Room is completely separate from the main pub and comes equipped with its own private bar, kitchen, bathrooms, PA system, portable staging, big TV screen with HDMI connection, rigged lighting, fairy lights, and dimmable chandeliers. We also have wireless microphones, as well as a range of tables, chairs, and linens.

The George IV Full Description
The Boston Room is our largest function space with a maximum capacity of 100 guests for a seated meal and 200 guests for a standing reception. With access from our courtyard, The Boston Room is completely separate from the main pub and comes equipped with its own private bar, kitchen, bathrooms, PA system, portable staging, big TV screen with HDMI connection, rigged lighting, fairy lights, and dimmable chandeliers. We also have wireless microphones, as well as a range of tables, chairs, and linens.
Bands and DJ's are welcome and we do not charge room or venue hire fees.
