This recently renovated barn still retains it's rustic charm. Surrounded by acres of woodland and breathtaking scenery giving you a perfect back drop for the photographs of your special day. Our venue is unique, offering a refreshing, alternative to the conventional venue adding something different for your special event! We are a family run business that's committed to ensuring your event/stay is enjoyable. We cater for all events with a variety of packages available. An opportunity to create your very original and truly memorable celebration. Campsite is located near the barn, where your guests can camp and sit around the campfire under the stars. We have wood view lodges available. We have four of these, which sleeps 2 people in each lodge and a gypsy caravan.

A Fitting Venue for a Hobbity BashA Fitting Venue for a Hobbity Bash
We were fortunate to have stumbled across this beautiful venue for our relaxed wedding celebration based on the vibe of a Hobbit birthday party. This isn't a 5 star wedding venue (hence the 4 star rating), where you'll be frightened to sneeze on the decor... that just wouldn’t be Hobbity... this is a very down-to-earth and relaxed venue where you can actually enjoy yourselves and have an unconventional wedding celebration, like we did! We were encouraged by the attitude of flexibility and "meeting of needs/wants" presented to us from the beginning. If you want a ready made package, they can offer you this. But, if you want to do things differently, they are very happy to work with you to achieve this. There were some minor snags caused by some misunderstandings from the beginning. Make sure you know what is and isn't included, would be my advice (particularly regarding what furniture is and is not included). No one is trying to cheat you here, I promise (the team here are lovely), but we made some assumptions that we later realised were wrong. That said, everything that is included in the price is absolutely worth it. Especially, when you make comparisons with other local similar venues. You're hiring the entire site specifically for your event. That alone is worth a couple of thousand pounds for the privilege. The whole team here really care about your day. They're not some cold, corporate business, they're a family. I think this is what made all the difference to us, and why we wanted to have our wedding celebration here. We'd absolutely love to come back here every year for a weekend get together with our friends, and with music, dancing and food... We had our wedding at The Barn on 17.05.25, it was the most amazing day! The venue is stunning, both the outside area and stunning views- we so lucky to of been able to get married outside ! But also the barn itself, gorgeous without any extra touches. Moira is the amazing! Not one question was left unanswered and she was she it the most helpful host. Her team on the day were great, so professional but still fun! Can not recommend this team more. We had our wedding at The Barn on 17.05.25, it was the most amazing day! We had our wedding here last weekend (26,04.2025) and we couldn’t have asked for a better venue. Not only is this venue beautiful inside and outside but Moira and her team are absolutely amazing. If ever I had a question, Moira would answer straight away. And I was made to feel I could ask anything big or small. Very reasonably priced compared to others and still so beautiful. We had amazing comments from all our guests and would 100% recommend to others. Thankyou!!We had our wedding here last weekend (26,04.2025) and we couldn’t have asked for a better venue. My husband and I knew we wanted a venue where we had complete freedom with food and decor, on site accommodation was also a must. The Barn At Dinthill was everything we needed and more. From the initial viewing all the way up to the moment we left, we loved every moment here. The team are incredible. So knowledgable, friendly and laid back. Nothing was too much or too little to make happen. Our guests also loved the venue. There are so many lovely little spaces to sit and relax, and the view is STUNNING. Thank you Moira & the team for making the wedding of our dreams a reality. We can't thank you enough. We have just got married at this beautiful venue, and everything about it was just perfect. Moira and all the girls who staffed it for the night were beyond amazing. Nothing was to much or a bother for them. They were all so lovely and accommodating. Everything about the venue and the staff made our day the most perfect, unforgettable day. I had my wedding here on the 24th of August and would highly recommend the staff were incredible!! The venue was beautiful, clean and so well kept. We had our wedding reception here on 27th July 2024 and it was even better than I could have imagined. The Barn is absolutely beautiful! Moira and her team are fantastic and nothing is too much trouble. The afternoon tea was wonderful and our guests commented on how lovely it was. The overnight accommodation is great and a cooked breakfast the following morning was just what we needed! Thank you again to Moira and all her team at the Barn at Dinthill!We had our wedding reception here on 27th July 2024 and it was even better than I could have imagined.
