Barns and Yard A venue we happened to find on a google search during COVID. I fell in love straight away just looking at the photos, made contact with the venue to have a look around. Lisi and Kate were incredible from the offset, letting us explore the venue on our own. Walking through the building explaining what to expect on the day. We were won over straight away booking our date straight away. Right from this point it was all so smooth with regular emails to check how our planning was coming along. Lisi, Kate and Nicky have a fantastic family touch of making you feel part of the team. They sent Christmas cards at Christmas, sympathy cards for when my Dad sadly passed. All of these small touches that meant everything. Moving on to the BIG day. It could not have gone any better you have full access to the venue from 1pm the Friday before meaning you can set up and have all delivers brought to you in more than enough time. Myself and the bridesmaids stayed in the cottages the night before with the self catering plenty of room we were really able to sit and relax having those last giggles and memories together. Saturday swiftly came all systems go! Hair and make up were doing their thing, we have fizz on the go and everything was great. Nerves started to kick in but all of the tribe kept me going! 2pm was looming we started to get excited seeing the guest through the window they all looked incredible. I could not wait to be part of the celebrations! 2pm was here it was time to walk down everything was perfect finally me and Nathan could see each other. Walking down to 'somewhere over the rainbow' was perfect. Tears of happiness and joy were everything. Before we knew the ceremony was coming to an end. I wanted to pause the room and take it all in. Moving on to the confetti, drinks and nibbles every single person saying how incredible the venue was how pretty every touch was. Space for people to spread, space for people to explore and space for the children to be children and be safe. Next up was our meal, Barns and Yard recommending Sticky Fig, They did not disappoint the burgers was outstanding and everybody tucking in to every bit of food. Every moment of our day was effortless, down to the incredible team at Barns and Yard picking up the bits that you do not think about, ensuring the music in playing on time. Making sure the guest were all happy and ok! The day of our dreams was coming to an end, of course we didn't want it all to stop but the team were ready to ensure everyone got back ok and safe. We had loaded fries and cake waiting for us in our room which was amazing! Finally it was as though the magic elves had come and cleaned up the barns putting all of our decorations safety to one side ensuring everything was kept in great condition. We had until 12.30 to leave the following Sunday morning meaning more than enough time to enjoy breakfast, and reminisce over the day before. We could not thank Lisi, Kate, Nicky and the team enough for our day. We would love to do it all again in a flash! Thank you Nathan and Emily Williams

Barns & Yard was the only venue we saw when we started planning our wedding, and immediately knew we had to get married there! From the minute we booked, the team at B&Y were so helpful. The 3 days we spent at the venue were so relaxed as we knew they had it all in hand. They contacted all of our suppliers ahead of time to confirm timings etc. and the day ran so smoothly! We genuinely couldn't recommend this venue and the team enough, and wish we could do it all over again!

Every single inch of this venue is just perfection. Not only is this a breathtakingly stunning venue, but the people who run it are truly special. From the moment you step into the Barns you are greeted by the most friendly and attentive team who really cannot do enough for you. The passion they have for each wedding really shines through, communication is exceptional. Anyone who gets married at Barns and Yard are very lucky people.

As soon as we turned onto the drive to see Barns and Yard we knew that it was the place for us, it is simply a stunning venue and so adaptable to whatever kind of ceremony or reception you could want. All the staff are so friendly, professional and supportive and the fact that the venue is yours for the weekend makes all the difference! We had so many compliments and comments from our guests as to how beautiful the venue was, it really couldn't be a better place to get married.

Beautiful wedding venue. Attended a wedding 24th August 2023. Staff were lovely, the settings are beautiful and grounds are well kept.
