Birtsmorton Court & Church

Birtsmorton was the second venue we viewed and we fell in love with it straight away! On our wedding day, all of our guests came up to us and commented on how amazing the venue was, particularly commenting on how much they loved the various different areas that we spent the wedding day! We had our ceremony in the church which was so special then the reception on the terrace and in the White Garden! The Birtsmorton staff were brilliant leading up to the day and on the day kept us calm and made sure everything ran smoothly and on time. We couldn’t have asked for a more amazing wedding and Birtsmorton were such a massive part of that!

Birtsmorton is a fabulous venue for a wedding and ours was amazing!! We had a large bridal party which we were all able to stay in the hideaway cottage with hot tub and even bigger guest list with enough room for most guests to stay on site and they accommodated us all very well, the venue is fantastic with the hills in the background ,the grounds are so picturesque it had everything we needed and looked for in a venue. Naomi our wedding co ordinator was lovely and Dave they did so much on the day can’t thank them enough. The reception in the white garden was probably my favourite but the alternatives for your day is endless here!! Thank you so much birtsmorton!

I have copied our message from Google reviews , as I’m now very emotional thinking back to our big day just a week ago! Where do we begin … I personally wouldn’t class Birtsmorton as a wedding ‘venue’ it feels more like a huge home shared with family , family being the Birtsmorton team. From getting engaged in December 2022 we then began our search for our dream wedding in August 2023 , we liked the idea of abroad but ultimately wanted all of our family with us. We also wanted the wedding to feel more than just 1 day , we had visited only one other venue which felt very rushed and more of a in and out process. One final requirement was for the venue to be dog friendly as we were set on having our fur baby Daisy part of the big day. My husband ! Then found Birtsmorton after searching for a ‘weekend’ wedding venue , we was sceptical as it was a slight distance for some to travel however , on our first visit we met Lucy and herself and the breathtaking ‘venue’ and grounds sold it to us. She made efforts to work around dates we had in mind and worked effortlessly with us up until our final wedding planning meeting when we was then introduced to Naomi who then continued to work with us. We officially booked in August 2023 with Lucy however, during January 2024 we moved to Hungary for a work opportunity of my Husbands , during this time I had taken my role as wedding planner very seriously, being very specific and particular. Working with Naomi was better than I could have ever imagined , she understood all of our visions and wishes and made them happen even better than we ( I ) could have imagined. Naomi truly felt apart of our wedding party , we did try and convince her to join the party at one point! There isn’t words to thank the whole team enough. We also had a lovely young man take over from Naomi on the evening ( sadly had one too many at this point and are not 100% on his name 🥲) but for him to take over just as our wedding breakfast had finished and continue to run things seamlessly was just amazing. When we say the whole team at Birtsmorton it’s not an exaggeration; the housekeepers keeping on top of bed changes , groundsman ensuring everywhere looked immaculate, I could go on. A week later and everyone is still talking about our day , if we could we’d do it again in a heartbeat. From the bottom of our hearts , thank you. Mr & Mrs Eaton ! Everything about our wedding at Birtsmorton Court was absolutely perfect. We honestly couldn’t have asked or imagined for anything better. The team who were absolutely professional from the moment we booked our first visit to the day of our wedding. They were a constant reassurance, calming influence & we just felt that she always had everything under complete control. The day itself was magical. We’ve lost count of the number of guests who’ve told us that it was the best wedding they’ve been to, and how stunning the venue was. It really is like something from a film set & anyone getting married here will have the best day of their lives. We are so so grateful to the team & feel so lucky to have found our perfect venue. I couldn’t recommend Birtsmorton Court and church more as a wedding venue. Our day was exactly what we imagined and the venue more than delivered. Our feedback from our guests after the wedding was not only did they love the food (especially the Mario Pizza Mini on the evening) they said the whole day was relaxed and the venue had a great atmosphere. Could not recommend this venue more to be able to create a unique wedding for yourself that will really stand out to your guests. Big thank you to our amazing wedding coordinator! We first booked our wedding in April 2017 and since that day, Birtsmorton has gone above and beyond to answer our questions and assist us with making our big day so perfect. Unfortunately, our wedding catering went bust 6 months before our big day - however the team were right on hand to sort the issue and helped us in getting the perfect menu with new our outstanding wedding caters (Orchard Catering were great at helping us adapt our already planned menus)! Thank you for making our dream wedding a reality - we will really miss our meetings and conversations!

Birtsmorton Court was the first and only location we visited when searching for our wedding venue. We were truly blown away by the stunning outside gardens/fields and fell in love with the moated Manor House. In the run up to the day there were a few hiccups out of both parties control, but our coordinator was so calming and reassuring throughout - an incredible planner, and we miss her already! The day itself was nothing short of a dream, the weather was perfect, everything went to plan, and every photo shows off what a stunning, romantic place Birtsmorton Court is, we just wish we could do it all over again! So many of our guests commented on what a unique and impressive venue this is, and given the wide variety of different spaces, actually quite reasonable in terms of venue hire cost! Our photographer has since called it her favourite ever venue! We are sad it’s all over, but a day we will never forget and that’s all thanks to the team and this stunning venue. Scott & Hayley x

We had our perfect day July this year. The venue was just amazing, gardens looked beautiful and everyone that attended our wedding commented on the venue! Lucy was amazing throughout the planning and on the day, David was fab to have with us on the evening, and the bar staff were amazing, nothing was too much to ask, even going to Tesco to get more Baileys for our Baby Guinness Shots. We got married on Saturday at Birtsmorton Court and quite confidently can say that it was the best day of our lives. From the moment we booked our wedding (2 years ago) until now, Sophie has made us feel at ease - nothing was ever too much hassle. She always went that extra mile to make sure that the day ran as smoothly as possible - even when it started raining and we were having our ceremony outside! Sophie ensured that we were able to have the ceremony we wanted and provided everyone with umbrellas - just in case! We honestly couldn't have wished for anything more from our experience and we will be forever grateful for Sophie's kindness and help throughout the process. The venue itself is out of this world and I felt as though I was part of a fairytale throughout the whole day. Each part of the venue offers something special and unique, which was the main reason for us booking Birtsmorton Court. Our photographer, who has photographed venues all over the world, expressed how amazing the venue was, stating that it was one of his favourites - the gardens have a magical, secret garden feel, which stunned our guests. Many commented stating that you could be in Italy or the South of France and I could not agree more. I would 100% recommend Birtsmorton Court, Sophie - thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for creating such a magical, memorable day.

We have just had the most amazing experience with Birtsmorton Court where we held our Civil Ceremony on 29th August 2021. We looked at no other venue. It was the first venue that we visited, and we were completely smitten. The setting was amazing but what sold it for us was the feeling that we got when we were there. Our day was never going to be the typical wedding. We had to work through a very turbulent covid 2 years, but the team stuck with us to get us through. Nothing was too much trouble on any level. Sophie and the team were an absolute delight to work with, they made it feel all very personal and never once just a process. They joined in the fun we had planning. We had rather a complex and different day which they made happen for us. This included sneaking a 60 strong choir under all the guests noses to deliver an epic surprise. Sophie and the team were immense and from the bottom of our hearts a huge thanks for delivering for us - Top Team. If I only know how to do it, I would have included some photos!! Birtsmorton will forever hold a very special place in our hearts.
