We had the most incredible experience hosting our wedding at Astley Bank in Darwen. From start to finish, the team, led by the wonderful Veronika, went above and beyond to ensure our day was nothing short of magical.Veronika's thoughtfulness and attention to detail were evident throughout the planning process. She took the time to understand our vision and preferences, offering valuable suggestions and guidance along the way. On the day of the wedding, her presence was invaluable. Veronika seamlessly coordinated every aspect, allowing us to relax and fully immerse ourselves in the joy of the occasion.The venue itself is stunning, with picturesque surroundings providing the perfect backdrop for our celebration. The combination of elegant décor and charming ambiance created an unforgettable atmosphere that enchanted both us and our guests.We cannot thank Astley Bank and Veronika enough for their exceptional service and dedication. I don’t even know where to begin! Me and my husband got married here in September 2022 and it was honestly just perfect. The venue is stunning, the food was amazing, the staff were so helpful and on hand whenever we needed them, the rooms were lovely, the list is endless! Veronika was our wedding coordinator here and she is amazing, she helped us to perfect our day and we couldn’t recommend Astley Bank enough! Our guests said it was one of the best weddings they have been too! We wish we could do it all over again! I would just say go and look around and you will soon fall in love with this place like we did!

Made great by the great people who came and the wonderful team at Astley Bank - led by Bill, Sue and Veronika. Their attention to detail was absolutely spot on and they were quick to react if anything wasn't quite perfect. All of our guests have commented on how friendly and efficient the service team were and how quick and easy it was to get served at the bar. A special mention must also go to the kitchen team who served up some of the best food we've ever tasted. All in all, nothing was too much trouble, from the flexibility demanded by the disruptive weather to the professionalism in dealing with such an array of suppliers and the helpfulness and no fuss when it came to returning lost property the morning after the night before. Astley bank hosted our wedding breakfast and reception in October 2019 for 80 (+20 evening guests). The staff were absolutely brilliant and went above and beyond over the whole weekend. The food is off the scale gorgeous and the hotel has a lovely atmosphere which created the intimate feel and comfort we were looking for our guests.

Where do i begin? Astley Bank recently held our Wedding and what a fantastic day we had. We had family travel from across the country, and the team at Astley Bank made them feel welcome from arrival. Nothing was ever any trouble, and all of our guests have said how amazing the venue looked, and was. The team are a huge credit to the venue, and we couldn't have asked for more. The food was 10/10, the organisation was amazing, it was clean and fresh, and nobody could have done anymore for us. It was a perfect day and we are so so grateful that we had such a great team to share it with. 100% recommend Astley Bank. We can't wait to share our anniversary with the team who made our day so special.’

Just want to say a huge thank you to all the staff at Astley Bank for helping our wedding go perfectly on 22nd Feb! All the staff were so helpful and helped turn our dream into a reality! I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone at Astley Bank from me, Liam and Mila, nothing was too much trouble on our wedding day and Liam the Master of Ceremonies was brilliant he made sure everything ran smoothly and made sure we had everything we could’ve ever wanted. And a massive thank you to Vicky! For helping me organise everything and putting up with my multiple emails 🤣 the food was amazing and the day couldn’t have gone better 💕

We had our wedding at Astley Bank Hotel on 23.11.19 and it was just perfect. The venue, staff, hotel grounds, food, service, just everything was fantastic. Our guests comments were all lovely about the venue, with many saying how the wedding breakfast was the best food they've ever had at a wedding, so compliments to the chef and kitchen staff! They all said how beautiful Astley Bank was, which was the main reason we chose this venue for our wedding. A big thank you goes to Vicki. Nothing was ever too much trouble for her and she was always on hand with any requests or queries we had throughout our wedding journey. She is a true asset to Astley Bank, so thank you so much Vicki! All the staff were polite, helpful and professional. The food again was outstanding, all fresh and well presented. We had our ceremony at Astley Bank and the way all the staff transformed the room so quickly and efficiently was amazing. The room for the wedding breakfast looked lovely. The venue is amazing, it's felt very intimate and homely. The staff are all very friendly and helped make the day go so smoothly. It was also the little touches that made the difference (I won't spoil any surprises) but it was perfect. The wedding coordinator was helpful and stayed in touch throughout and was always on hand to help or answer any questions we had. Our suppliers commented on how helpful, friendly and welcoming the venue was towards them. Some of our guests mentioned that this was the best wedding they had been to (I'm sure this was genuine and not something they felt they had to say!) A big part of this was down to the venue. There's not enough words to describe how amazing Astley Bank is to hold your wedding! Simply amazing and we had the perfect wedding!

I would highly reccomend astley bank. from the moment we visited it we knew it was perfect for our wedding. Vickie has been amazing giving advice when needed and making sure everything was perfect on the day. We cant thank vickie and the staff enough for everything our wedding day on the 19th October was absolutely perfect everything we wanted and more.
