Beautiful barn
When we visited the venue it was a very easy decision to go with Suffolk barn as it is such a beautiful place to be, and had a more rustic vibe than other barns in the area. Rupert and Georgie are lovely and were really helpful the day before and on the day, checking we were happy with everything. Due to unforeseen circumstances we had to change our date and they were really compassionate and accommodating. There’s lot of outdoor space (typically it rained on our wedding day so could not use it!) but the barn is really spacious so it wasn’t a problem. Our guests commented on how beautiful the space was. It’s a good option if you want to put your own style on a wedding venue, rather than it already being all set up. We would highly recommend and also recommend booking their beautiful cottage next door for the weekend.

A piece of tranquility which you can make your own.
After cancelling three wedding dates due to Covid we wanted to have a wedding to blow the cobwebs away to celebrate being together again. We booked Suffolk Barn after having a facetime tour as face to face wasn't allowed at that point. A whole year passed before we saw the barn in the flesh and it was even more beautiful. From the long winding drive where you have unobstructed views for miles to be greeted by the stunning barn. The space is amazing and it was great to have the bottom barn for our ceremony and evening entertainment and the top barn for our sit-down meal, having the space meant that there wasn't a rush to clear everything. The kitchen is well equipped if you chose to DIY or bring in caters. The music system means that it is perfect for a boogie and it isolates the sound so the top barn you can still have a normal conversation. Not to mention the outside space plenty of room for the kids to run around play games. Guests to drink and be merry. I wish I could have a wedding every year as this place is truly magical.

Our Dream Wedding
The Suffolk Barn was an absolute score of a wedding place! My wife imagined a Rustic Barn somewhere near London and Cambridge and Suffolk was the pitch-perfect spot to have this at. The Barn is so spectacular and beautiful! It's not just a barn (the place itself), but it actually has the chickens and other farm animal around to give it that real authenticity. They keep the grass immaculate and the barn itself has an amazing rustic feel to it. However, it also has lights that can set the mood for the night. It practically has all the colors of the rainbow, but my wife and I kept it on purple lighting the entire time. This venue can hold around 100-125 people and was everything we could've asked for in a place! The price for this was spot on and the best bargain anyone could've asked for. To not only have this barn available, but also the cottage house nearby for my wife and her family to sleep at the day prior of the wedding helped tremendously when it came to getting ready in the morning on the day of the wedding. Additionally, the staff work were so joyful to work with! Georgie, Susan, and Rupert were such an incredible part of the whole experience. They were so timely and professional in their emails as well as letting us come see the venue for ourselves. These staff members go above and beyond to make sure your experience, whatever it may be, is one to remember. But lastly, the day of the wedding, was breath-taking. Having everything come together on sunny and cloudless day was everything we could've wanted and more. Suffolk Barns is a hidden gem that we hope more people come to utilize and see for themselves! - Logan and Valeria
