The staff were attentive and professional, ensuring every detail was taken care of, going above and beyond in every aspect. The venue itself is stunning, providing a beautiful backdrop for our ceremony and reception. The facilities were immaculate, and the layout worked perfectly for our needs. We couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate our special day. In large part to this incredible venue and staff. From start to finish, everything was amazing. The staff were attentive and professional, ensuring every detail was taken care of, going above and beyond in every aspect. The venue itself is stunning, providing a beautiful backdrop for our ceremony and reception. The facilities were immaculate, and the layout worked perfectly for our needs. I originally was getting married at another venue that pulled the rug and cancelled our wedding. After getting the sporting lodge suggested I made the best decision and rang them and spoke to lovely girl name Lucy… who ended up saving the wedding and being my wedding planner along with a women named Leanne the manager who is also amazing. The two of them couldn’t do enough I honestly could cry with what they done. NothingIf anyone is looking to get married I can honestly say this is the place. The breakfast staff on the morning with their gorgeous smiles made my day first thing everyday ! The young lad was also so helpful with everyone, while serving us all he was helping a man I assume was blind ? who needed assistance I think his name was Jake or Jay ? Management should be proud of the staff they have !! Hannah was also amazing she went above and beyond for us both throughout our stay. The poached eggs were to die For Staff amazing !! What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
Any small touches that show the couples personality and interests are always great to see - we had a Wedding where the maid of honour managed to hire a cow as a surprise to the Bride after they made a pact as children that there would be a cow on her Wedding day with it being the Brides favourite animal!
Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
Our private patio & gardens provide the main spot for photos but our wine tower in the bar and exterior areas of the Hotel are also used

Our Wine tower in the Old Poste House is quirky and provides something a bit different for your photos
