We fell in love with the venue as soon as walked through the gate. Not only it is the perfect setting for a wedding but Chris (the manager) was great from day 1. All of his vendor recommendations were the best and no question was too silly to ask. We were able to put our own stamp on the place but the venue really shone through. We would do it all over again in the exact same way if we had the chance.

Rumbolds Farm was the perfect venue for our wedding day! It's such a beautiful place with loads of options and flexibility. The gardens are beautifully kept and we had our ceremony outdoors, led by Andy who was calm and professional. There were so many spots for photos, we were spoilt for choice. We had the meal in the old barn, which was a beautiful setting and then used the bigger barn for the evening reception. There's so many options and what made it great is being able to use your own suppliers to tailor the day to how you want it. We had guests staying in the house, and camp including using the Belle tents, and everyone said what an amazing venue it was. It was also incredibly helpful to have exclusive use of the venue from the Thursday to set up without having to stress or rush. Chris and family were so kind and welcoming, the place feels so special and not like other venues we looked at which were like a conveyor belt where they are churning out weddings. Would highly recommend Rumbolds!

There was genuinely nothing else we could have asked for from a wedding venue. The owners were incredible the whole way through and the grounds are absolutely stunning. The gardeners were there in the 2 days before and you can see the fruits of their labour as the gardens were incredible, all our guests commented on how beautiful it looked. We had the flexibility to make our day exactly as we wanted, with various locations to host certain parts of the day, and plenty of space for all our guests to comfortably enjoy themselves on a warm day! We hosted our main wedding on the Friday, with a second more casual BBQ on the Saturday, where the owners kindly allowed us to use another field to compete in a friendly England vs Wales rounders match and round off our amazing day perfectly. Both us and our full wedding party stayed in the onsite accommodation for 2 nights and it made everything even more special to spend that valuable time together and be so close to the action. Thank you to Susie, Chris and the rest of the team for making all our wedding dreams come true.

Rumbolds Farm is such a beautiful spot! The bridal suite is amazing and the accommodation in the house was lovely as well. My Father in law struggled a little with the steep stairs but managed and found the room comfortable. The breakfasts provided by Susie were very good with a tasty cooked breakfast, the best blueberries and a good range of cereal, yoghurt etc. Andrew the celebrant is lovely and his ceremony words are very touching whilst humorous also enabling you to personalise things as well. The old barn was the ideal setting for the meal and speeches with everything you need from a dishwasher and fridge to a music system as well. The large barn is perfectly set up for the party/dancing/band or dj. We were lucky with the weather to be able to have our ceremony by the pond giving a lovely backdrop for your vows as well as photos. The grounds and buildings are well maintained. Chris’ relaxed approach helped everything go calmly and smoothly. Chris was on hand for all our needs. Susie, Andrew and Chris made us all feel very welcome whilst giving us privacy as well. Having the venue from weds to Sunday was very helpful and reduced the stress of cramming everything into 24/48 hours. We were only able to visit the venue once but a full inventory of what is there or available to use would be helpful as I was emailing a lot of questions all of which were responded to promptly. Staffing from a local company was a slight issue no reflection on Rumbolds but be sure to have staffing confirmed in writing. As it was we managed without. Our overnight guests said the bell tents were lovely but pricey for the facilities provided. Overall we had the most amazing time, all our guests loved the location and we are delighted to have chosen Rumbolds for our special day!

We knew we had a guest list of around 175 so needed to find somewhere which would accommodate us without forcing us into ‘price per head’ deal, who would let us do whatever we liked, with whichever vendors we liked, where we would have time to set up and pack up in a relaxed way. What a strike of luck finding Rumbolds was. A STUNNING place with great indoor and outdoor space to cater for all weather. Chris and team were perfectly helpful and not pushy, and gave us space and support at every stage to pull off the perfect day. I felt the pricing was fair and have had nothing but rave reviews from our guests. I simply cannot find anything negative to say at all! If I did it all again, I wouldn’t change a thing

From first visit to finally clearing down after the Big Day, Chris, Susie and Andrew of Rumbolds have been completely wonderful! So helpful, calm and reassuring. The venue is drippingly beautiful in the heart of gorgeous West Sussex countryside. The sun shone and we decorated the whole property in our own colourful style, but even with no additions it’s stunning and has lots of well tended flower borders and trees. We had 80 for the day and 45 more in the evening. The family stayed in the comfy rooms and approx 40 camped in a mixture of Rumbolds Belle Tents and their own. The set up meant that the whole day was relaxed but very special and forever memorable. In a word - Perfect.

Rumbolds is the most amazing wedding venue! We stayed there for a few days before the venue which allowed us to settle into the place and relax into the wedding. All the guest compliment on how beautiful the wedding venue. Chris (manager) was so very helpful before the wedding, always willing to help and answer any question. On the day he made sure everything went smoothly and the guest were happy. The gardens and grounds were so well kept and looked beautiful in spring. The old barn is so stunning it made are ceremony and receptions perfect. Then in the evening we moved to the larger barn which had beautiful lights so great to dance and continue the celebrations. We had the perfect wedding and the venue was a big part of that!

We couldn’t recommend Rumbolds enough as a wedding venue in the West Sussex/Surrey area. The flexibility of the venue is amazing, we were given supplier recommendations but had complete freedom to choose who we wanted with the added bonus of no corkage charges! The communication with Chris throughout was excellent and we were encouraged to see other wedding set ups to help inspire how we wanted our day to run and which areas to use when. We were lucky enough to have sunshine on the day and the gardens created a beautiful backdrop for our ceremony, drinks and crazy golf! So many of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was and the bridal cottage was perfect for 6 of us to get ready in the morning. As soon as we stepped on site at Rumbolds we knew that it was the place we wanted to get married. The 15th Century barn is absolutely stunning in itself, but so too are the gardens and patio area. We had so many compliments from our guests about what a perfect spot Rumbolds is! We knew we wanted a barn wedding with plenty of outdoor space for guests to mingle and play lawn games - and Rumbolds was perfect for this. We also knew we wanted to have a hand in the set up and decoration, as well as choosing our own caterers and supplying our own drinks. The flexibility at Rumbolds meant we were really able to make the day our own! The run up to the day was stress free - having access the venue from Wednesday to Sunday meant we could set up at our own pace, and our wedding party could arrive as it suited them. Chris, the onsite venue manager - was able to liaise with vendors to keep the morning stress free for us both. Susie & Andrew were absolutely wonderful hosts too - the rooms we stayed in were beautiful, the breakfasts were delicious (Susie's scrambled eggs are absolutely wonderful!!) and Andrew, as our celebrant, ensured the perfect ceremony. We had the most perfect day and couldn't have asked for anything better. Would 100% recommend Rumbolds to anyone considering it.

The Robertson family were all brilliant from the get-go, so helpful and accommodating! It ticked so many boxes - not only a stunning venue, but the fact it was a blank canvas for us to decorate and make it our own. Having the venue from Wednesday - Sunday made such a difference and we could spend time getting it ready rather than feeling like we were on a conveyor belt with the wedding before and after us. The on-site accommodation is fantastic, and camping in the fabulous belle tents meant more of our guests could stay - proper glamping! We absolutely loved our wedding day and didn’t want it to end. We had so many comments from friends and family saying what a fab venue it was. We really can’t recommend it enough!
