Describe the best wedding that happened at Preston Leyland Hotel?

We couldn't possibly choose they are amazing and so special! All of the weddings that take place at our venue are truly special and unique, as each couple brings their own sense of style to the day.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Our top wedding planning tip for couples is to plan ahead! Start early and make sure to think about the overall timeline and plan for each event throughout the day. As you plan, keep in mind the key timings of the day and what you want to happen when. Additionally, don't forget to start your table plan early. It's a big job and it is likely to change a few times before the final version is submitted to the venue. By planning ahead and taking the timeline into account, you can ensure that your wedding day goes as smoothly as possible!

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

Our favorite personal touch I've seen at a wedding is when a couple put together a photo collage of all the guests who couldn't make it to the wedding. It's a lovely way to honor the people who are there in spirit. I also love the idea of having a half and half cake so that both of the couple's personalities can be seen. It's such a fun and creative way to express their individual styles.

Describe Preston Leyland Hotel in 5 adjectives

Unique, romantic, friendly, traditional and 'all under one roof'.

Where’s the best photo spot at Preston Leyland Hotel?

The Italian Courtyard is definitely the best photo spot at our venue! It's a beautiful and tranquil garden with plenty of lush greenery and a romantic ambiance. There are plenty of great backdrops and angles to choose from. Whether you're looking for a classic portrait shot or something a bit more creative, the Italian courtyard is the perfect place to capture special memories.

What’s your favourite canapé?

Our favorite canapé is the halloumi bites with tomato chutney. The combination of the salty halloumi and sweet tomato chutney is incredibly tasty and very satisfying. The brie and onion jam tartlet is also a great option, with the creamy brie and the sweet onion jam working together to create an amazing flavor. Both of these canapés are a great choice!

What’s your favourite midnight treat?

We love a bacon roll or vegetarian sausage roll for a midnight treat! Such a perfect snack to grab at the end of the night.

What is Preston Leyland Hotel most unique feature?

Norma our Fire Engine.
