Looking for a marquee celebration located in a historic country house boasting beautiful views and exquisite grounds? We offer bespoke packages available. Prices exclude marquee hire.
All marquee weddings include 2 days of exclusive use including 10 luxury bedrooms and a two bedroom cottage.
A full catering and drinks package is included. The purpose of this is to give you an idea as to the costs involved but each couple will receive a personalised wedding proposal. These prices do include bedrooms. Guests are welcome to pay for their own 2 night accommodation which we can manage in-house. Marquees are hired in addition to our packages through Peak Marquee Hire.

Nestled between the picturesque Snowdonia mountains and Irish sea, Grade II 5* Plas Dinas Country House is an award-winning, luxury wedding venue in Wales. Former home of Lord Snowdon, Husband of Princess Margaret it is full to the brim with style.
During the summer months you can make the most of the 15 acres of exquisite grounds, with an outside drinks’ reception on the terrace with incredible views of the Menai and Llanddwyn Island (Lovers Island). Marquee weddings can take place between May - September. Plas Dinas work exclusively with Peak Marquee. You are advised to contact them to discuss prices for your bespoke marquee.
They offer only a small number of packages with a real focus on bespoke weddings that is unique to you. Each day and personalised proposal is therefore very different & unique to you. Experienced luxury Wedding planner Annie, with years of experience in luxury venues (including the sister property to Downton Abbey), will be on hand to create your dream day, whether you’re planning a traditional white wedding with one of their venue designers or a relaxed festival style or Afternoon Tea wedding on the sweeping lawns. Marquee weddings are very exclusive at Plas Dinas. They only accept 10 bespoke marquee celebrations each year as the attention to detail is phenomenal. The exclusive use marquee weddings include the use of this exquisite venue for two whole days, experienced planner that you have access to throughout the planning and on the day, tv personality chef, experienced team & an exquisite venue with incredible British royal history.
Smaller, intimate foodie focused weddings of between 2 - 50 guests are available throughout the year on an exclusive use basis. They specialise in a variety of micro wedding styles. From relaxed Afternoon Tea weddings in the Dining Room to a fine dining foodie experience in one of their many dining areas. Twilight and Afternoon ceremonies are available

Our Dream Day
We hired Plas Dinas for two whole days, with their experienced team on hand throughout. We were looked after but at the same time left to feel at home in their beautiful country house. Annie created our very own package, which we worried would cost so much more but it doesn't. You get 5 star service and incredible food. Worth every penny. I wish we could do it over and over again.

Well that would be telling but it was a very exciting wedding to be a part of!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Enjoy every moment and book a venue with an experienced planner that either works at the venue or an external planner.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
Every wedding is individual to the couple so I tend to have favourite moments from each wedding as it means something to the couple I have got to know.

Royal, Historic, Romantic, Bespoke, Unique
Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
We have the most beautiful views over the bay and Llanddwyn Island (Lovers Island) from our Mount and is one of the options for a celebrant wedding. The Welsh Highland Railway also goes through our grounds with the most beautiful steam trains.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
Yes, regularly but we offer complete discretion unless said celebrity or famous guest wishes to announce that they are here, which of course we welcome.
What’s your favourite canapé?
Oh that is a tough one when you have Head Chef and TV personality Daniel Ap Geraint as your Head Chef. Everything is delicious. We don't advise attending a showround or consultation when you are hungry.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Mini fish and chip cones or a bacon sandwich at midnight. Oh and our belgium hot chocolate station.
What is your venue's most unique feature?
The house was owned by Lord Snowdon who married Princess Margaret, the Queen's sister. Princess Margaret was regularly seen staying at Plas Dinas. The house is full of exquisite royal memorabilia.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
The service is incredible, the chef is extremely talented and everyone goes above and beyond to ensure our guests have a wonderful stay. The in-house restaurant, The Gunroom Restaurant has been recognised by the Michelin Guide.
