Amazing Wedding in Wales
Having viewed a few other wedding venues, the barns and surrounding area took our breath away. After a viewing with Steve, we knew it was the place for us to tie the knot. We met at Bangor University and it seemed apt that we married in beautiful Wales. We loved the rustic feel to the venue combined with the endless possibilities that it presented. The barn itself was beautiful during the ceremony and cosy / atmospheric for the evening meal / ceilidh. The surrounding views had it all; towering mountains, rolling fields and a lake at the base. Completing the scene were the bell tents that not only provided comfortable and fun accommodation for our guests, but also the perfect back-drop to our wedding, both at day and at night (e.g. fairy lights, flags). We cannot recommend both the bell tents and the venue enough. Choosing this venue does come with an element of DIY, but through emails with Danielle, and on the weekend itself, the venue staff and Steve, provided constant support and our day went very smoothly as a result. Though the venue can be used in multiple ways, here's a rundown of what we decided to do: guests stayed in a mixture of camper vans, bell tents and their own tents, we had a fish and chip van on the Friday night (big crowd pleaser), guests took multiple dips in the nearby lake, the wedding photos were insane (despite the slightly adverse weather), we had a fantastic caterer for the Saturday followed by a very fun ceilidh, and then on Sunday we hosted a massive brunch using the very functional kitchen. Put simply, we loved our wedding at this venue!!

Best weekend of our lives!
My husband & I recently got married at Llyn Gwynant barns and couldn't recommend it highly enough. We chose the venue as we had stayed at the main campsite previously and knew instantly this is where we wanted to have our wedding. Danielle was brilliant with the organising aspect and once we arrived, Steve and Nicky were on hand and made everyone feel relaxed and well looked after. It's a DIY venue but there is plenty of furniture and the staff were brilliant help. The barns themselves are already beautiful, so it's up to you how much you want to decorate them - we decided to go wild and roped in lots our family to help with drying flowers, making a wedding arch, chairbacks etc and gave the groomsmen plenty of jobs on the big day! We found having a venue where you can make it your own made it even more special and many of our guests have told us how glad they were to be part of the setting up on the Friday. We chose to extend hire to the Monday, which was a brilliant way of making the most of having the barns throughout the Sunday; this included a mass morning swim in the lake and leisurely breakfast with use of the kitchen. Many of our guests chose to camp in the private fields next to the venue and were able to hire bell tents from Bear Necessities, which is also run by Steve. The tents are lovely and well looked after, we particularly loved our large honeymoon tent which had a proper bed and furniture inside! These really added to the festival feel and looked brilliant. The venue has the most amazing backdrop of the lake and, although I might be biased, I can't think of a more stunning place to get married and spend time with family and friends. We'll be back every anniversary for sure, if not before! Thank you Llyn Gwynant - a truly magical place to get married which will forever have a special place in our hearts. Claire & Mike

Most picturesque venue of all time
We had visited Llyn Gwynant Campsite previously, and when we decided to get married, we couldn’t think of anywhere better. From the beginning, the friendliness of Danielle via email, and the kind and caring welcome from Steve on our first visit, we were amazed by the service that these barns provide. We had the barns from the Friday to the Monday – which we highly recommend as it allows you to really enjoy a wedding weekend away with your nearest and dearest. The location alone is stunning, especially on a clear day, and so our pictures are incredible from the amazing Love Adventure Photography. Our guests kept repeating over and over about how picturesque the venue was, and we magically got some sun! The barns are impressive, and huge, with beautiful ceilings and tall windows that make the inside views rival the outdoor ones – the painted windows are such a beautiful attention to detail. The facilities at the barn are just perfect for the venue. There are plenty of toilets (which were kept so clean by the staff), with lovely hot showers – this was great for guests to get ready, and also as facilities through the weekend. The morning of the wedding, we had all the guests getting ready together, and it really helped with building atmosphere and excitement! The kitchens are huge, and there is ample space for any food and drink that you bring with you, we also used the huge oven over the weekend to cook pizza for our guests. The campsite facilities are great too. Most of our guests used the café for breakfast over the weekend, and enjoyed it down by the lake – loads of options for everyone, and it was delicious! Now to the staff – who were absolutely amazing. Special thanks to Steve, for being the most amazing host for the weekend. Steve thought of absolutely everything, he helped with our music, our organisation for the day, and most importantly, put all our minds at ease on what is supposed to be a very stressful weekend, but he made it into such a relaxed and calm atmosphere. We cannot thank him enough for everything he did, he was truly a friend. On top of all that, he also provided our accommodation for the weekend, Bear Tents, which was our glamping village, and it was perfect. It allowed our guests to stay right next to the barn, and also allowed everyone to chill over the weekend. We had the honeymoon tent, and it was amazing. So super comfortable, warm, and with decorations that suited the venue perfectly. We felt so lucky. I would highly recommend this venue, as it felt like a fairy tale to get married here, and I wish I could relive it all over and over again. As much as I would like to keep this place a secret selfishly, I can only wish them busy seasons over and over again. Thank you Llyn Gwynant Barns, you made my dreams come true!

The Perfect Wedding Venue
We got married at the Llyn Gwynant Barns in April 2024. The venue was everything that we hoped it would be. Most of the guests camped in the barns' adjacent private camping field and many hired a fantastic bell tent. We were very lucky with the weather however even if this had not been the case, the venue still provides the most dramatic backdrop one can imagine. Guests enjoyed walks around the valley during the weekend and even a group swim in the lake! The barns themselves have a warm and cosy feel with underfloor heating and a great fireplace that was kept lit long into the night. We had the freedom to decorate the barns and had full use of the kitchen all weekend which made the wedding truly personal to us. The team at the barns were very helpful throughout our whole experience from the planning stage through to the actual weekend. Steve and the rest of the team were on hand to help with anything that we needed which meant we could relax and fully enjoy the event. We would highly recommend the barns as a wedding venue for anyone who loves the outdoors

Best weekend of our lives!
Thank you so much to Danielle and Steve for helping us to make our wedding weekend the absolute best! We had the most amazing time, which is all thanks to you guys being so helpful, calm and patient with us. Organising a wedding in just 11 months whilst selling and moving house was no easy feat and you both made us feel so reassured and supported and helped to make our weekend work so smoothly. We couldn't have asked for a better work force to help us and a better venue with such stunning views. We also loved that we could make it our own and decorate it how we liked, so many of our guests commented on how very 'us' the wedding was, so unique and different. We also loved being able to stay at the venue for the whole weekend with our family and friends, it really extended the wedding celebrations which had we gone to a different venue we wouldn't have experienced. We loved the camping vibe and the community spirit of everyone 'mucking in' together to get the wedding underway. We loved that we could have a camp fire on the Sunday night to roast some marsh mellows, that we could have alpacas come along to the wedding and we could plant a love tree as an alternative to exchanging rings in the ceremony. We couldn't have done these things anywhere else. We truly can't thank you enough for making our weekend the best one we've ever had! We were so sad to leave on the Monday.

Absolutely beautiful and completely unique
We got married at Llyn Gwynant Barns on the 8th July and it was everything we'd hoped and more. The venue is absolutely stunning and we lucked out with the weather. The sun shone, the majority of guests glamped in the bell tents (we had 30+ set up!) and everyone enjoyed the surroundings, having a dip in the lake, paddle boarding, kayaking and venturing off on hikes to explore the area. The venue itself is wonderful and special mentions go to Steve and Danielle who work tirelessly to make sure everything is perfect. They are honestly a joy to deal with and are so laid back they take any stress out of the situation - they want it to go without a hitch as much as you do! Depending on what you want and how you want the venue decorated, there is a lot of setting up and packing away to do. If you want a venue you can just roll up to where everything is done for you, this might not be the place for you but we wouldn't have gone anywhere else. We had everything exactly as we wanted it. With some willing helpers in the form of guests, many hands make light work and it was extra special having our friends involved. The new bathrooms are fab and all the facilities kept spotless. Big thanks to the team. We had THE BEST day and want to do it all over again every year 😂 x
