Petersham Nurseries Richmond

This was the venue for a small family wedding lunch and couldn't have been more perfect. When I phoned to enquire about parking for our 91 year old SuperNan, they assured me that they would reserve a place for her, and they did! When we arrived, we were greeted with a clear sign reserving the accessible parking for her. Such a lovely touch, which set the tone for the entire visit. Although we arrived an hour early, our table was ready and they invited us to take up our places whenever we were ready. Service was first rate from start to finish, with drinks topped up regularly throughout the meal. The food itself was exquisite, presented as a work of art and fulfilling its promise. The restaurant set inside a green house, is just stunning. I could imagine it as beautiful and unique setting for a wedding reception. The menu was limited and quite expensive, however the food we received was delightful! Service was a little slow, but friendly. There is a also a cafe you can visit and sit around the grounds, if you don't feel like eating at a formal restaurant. Lovely to see and enjoy if you are in the area. -Krista S.
