Parkview Farmhouse

The most magical wedding we’ve hosted so far was a summer celebration that perfectly captured what makes Parkview Farmhouse so special. The couple welcomed guests with drinks on the lawn overlooking the lake, before everyone gathered for a relaxed outdoor meal on picnic benches under the stretch tent, lit with festoon lights. As night fell, the party moved into the bar cottage where the wood-burning stove and rustic beams set the scene for dancing into the early hours. It was personal, full of warmth, and truly unforgettable.

Don’t stress the small stuff — nothing truly matters except having fun and being surrounded by the people you love most. The best weddings aren’t the most perfect, they’re the ones where everyone feels relaxed, present, and full of joy.

One of our favourite personal touches was a couple who created their own signature his-and-hers cocktails for the evening bar. It was such a fun way to share a bit of their personality with guests — and the drinks became a real talking point throughout the night.

The lake is a firm favourite. Whether it’s golden hour reflections, a quiet moment on the jetty, or group shots with the trees behind you, it’s the kind of backdrop that feels effortlessly magical in every season.

Our most unique feature is the Irish-style bar cottage — complete with a built-in dance floor, wood-burning stove, and cosy pub feel. It turns every wedding into a house party in the best way, and there’s nothing else quite like it.

We’re most proud that Parkview Farmhouse is truly a family-run labour of love. It’s the pride and joy of the seven of us — siblings who’ve each brought something different to create a space that feels warm, personal, and full of heart.
