We were delighted to win 2021 Wedding Venue of the Year at the Top Tier awards once again! It’s not hard to fall in love with Norwood Hall Hotel. As you drive along the tree-lined avenue and see the magnificent Victorian mansion for the first time, the breath taking beauty of Norwood hall hotel simply sweeps you off your feet. Hosting just one wedding a day, our luxurious accommodation will prove a spectacular base for your wedding party. Our stunning Pitfodels Suite features floor to ceiling windows and can accommodate up to 200 guests. The Suite has a private drinks reception room, bar within the room and dance floor. Our highly experienced and multi-award winning Wedding managers, Julie Love and Aimee Nekrews will gladly assist you along your journey to planning your perfect day. With friendliness and professionalism you can rest assured that with their expertise you will have the perfect day. Thank you for the perfect day

The first time we went to Norwood, we knew we had found out venue. A gorgeous hotel with beautiful grounds, but that's just the outside. The staff truly made our day run as smooth as silk. Aimee got our day started, helping us co-ordinate breakfast so there was no seeing each other before the ceremony. The staff during the wedding breakfast seamlessly managed last minute table plan changes. In the evening, Jordan told us how to hold the knife properly to get the perfect cake cutting photo and it worked! On a day so full of busy joy, we're so grateful for the entire Norwood team and their amazing work!

The best day of our lives

We cannot thank the team at Norwood Hall Hotel enough! Every meeting we had prior to the big day was detailed, centred around what we wanted and how they could provide that, so welcoming and enjoyable. The organisation within the team made the day pass by seamlessly leaving us with nothing to stress about. The attention to detail throughout the day was just spectacular. From a drink of water before going down the isle, our table placements and even knowing who was requiring different meals. The food was just amazing! From gluten free, vegetarian to picky eaters, they catered for everyone and the feedback we had was lots of "wow, that meal was just delicious". We were given our own space to enjoy our day but we always knew someone was on the side lines if we needed anything at all - even finding us batteries for a camera! Aimee and everyone at Norwood - THANK YOU for providing us with the best day of our lives! You are all just amazing!

From the outset, your wedding planner Aimee did an extraordinarily good job in understanding what we were looking for, suggesting lovely menus, helping with timings and answering numerous questions as time rolled on toward the date. The process was managed with great efficiency but also grace and kindness at every step. I know the amount of work that it takes to organise major events (I often do so at the University of Aberdeen) and especially an event like a wedding with so many moving parts.

"Everything from our wedding at Norwood was perfect! The attention to detail was just amazing. From a glass of iced water before the ceremony, the time taken setting the tables, to the recommendation of 5 minutes away from the crowd. The waiters and bar staff were all so lovely and attentive. The reception staff so welcoming. The wedding coordinators just incredible. The whole team at Norwood are just beyond words! Thank you all for making a dream come true, and then some!"

An incredible experience

After much delay we finally had our wedding at Norwood in October of 2023. It was an incredible experience and the staff were amazing. Aimee was there from start to finish to help with everything, she walked us through it and made us feel So calm. Norwood supported us for unexpected delays and we’re always so accommodating, as for the day itself, we were so well looked after, the day was flawless and the venue was beautiful. Simply an incredible day that we will never forgot. I will always be grateful for all the Norwood staff.
