Staying for 4 nights meant we could fully relax with our nearest & dearest before & after the wedding. The house and grounds are absolutely stunning, I can't think of a single thing I would change about the whole experience. It's one of the few venues locally where the indoor ceremony space is equally as beautiful as the outdoor options. Molly & the team were absolutely fantastic! We had a reasonably small wedding (43 day guests) and Ballogie House was the perfect size. It has the most stunning backdrop and the house itself is immaculate. Perfect for making a whole weekend out of the celebrations! I couldn't recommend Ballogie House more. Thanks to Charlotte for being a wonderful wedding co-ordinator too and running our day perfectly.Ballogie House is the perfect wedding venue! Charlotte and Molly were so attentive and helpful making our day such an ease. Charlotte was honestly amazing, our wedding wasn’t the easiest to deal with due to the amount of people we had attending and the size of the top table we wanted, but Charotte went above and beyond to make sure everything worked for us, it really was appreciated!We knew Ballogie House was the one for us the moment we stepped out the car. It was beautiful and just so peaceful, It really is just so picturesque. Charlotte and Molly were so attentive and helpful making our day such an ease. Charlotte was honestly amazing, our wedding wasn’t the easiest to deal with due to the amount of people we had attending and the size of the top table we wanted, but Charotte went above and beyond to make sure everything worked for us, it really was appreciated!

We have had so many fantastic weddings here that I couldn't just pick 1 favourite! Every couple brings their own style and personality, which makes each celebration so special!
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
It's impossible to choose just one! Some of our favourite personal touches have included handmade personalised sunglasses for every guest (we were even gifted our own pair), table names inspired by places that held special meaning to the couple, complete with their stories, and personalised handkerchiefs for the bridal party – a thoughtful gesture that proved invaluable for all those happy tears.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
One of our favourite photo spots is right in front of Ballogie House, where the house creates a beautiful backdrop for couples' portraits. For a more natural setting, the Queen of Firs, just a short walk away, offers one of the most picturesque locations on the estate.

One of the things that makes Ballogie House so special is its versatility. We offer the best of both worlds: an exclusive-use country house for romantic elopements and intimate weddings, surrounded by breathtaking views across the estate, alongside a stunning glass-sided marquee for couples planning larger celebrations. What part of your business are you most proud of?
What makes us most proud of Ballogie House is that we're a small team and family-run venue. We take the time to get to know each couple, understand what's important to them and help create a wedding that feels truly personal. Nothing brings us more joy than seeing couples, their families and friends come together to celebrate and make lasting memories. It's a privilege to play a small part in such a special chapter of their lives, and to know that Ballogie House will forever be part of those memories.

Can we hold both our ceremony and reception at Ballogie House?
Yes, couples can hold their ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast and evening celebrations all in one beautiful location.
Is accommodation available on site?
Yes. Ballogie House can accommodate up to 14 guests in seven luxurious en-suite bedrooms. Additional cottages are available across the estate, allowing more of your guests to stay nearby and make the most of their time at Ballogie.
Can we bring our dog?
Yes! We know pets are part of the family. Please contact us to discuss including your dog in your wedding celebrations.
