Our Packages are based on 40 Day Guests and 70 Evening Guests but you are more than welcome to add additional guests onto these numbers. We offer 3 different packages to suit all tastes and budgets. Silver, Gold and Platinum; all the packages include almost everything you will need for your big day including accommodation. With the Silver and Gold you will get 10 bedrooms for you and your guests and if you were to opt for the Platinum you get exclusive use the whole hotel including all its bedrooms and apartments. Our traditional accommodation, exquisite dining facilities, excellent service, in-house wedding planner and picture-perfect grounds means that your special day can proceed without a hitch! We are able to cater for small intimate weddings and larger parties for up to 90 day guests and 150 evening guests. We will design a bespoke wedding package to suit your individual needs and budgets, and can offer a wide range of choices for starters, main courses and deserts. A drink on arrival for all your guests. A three course wedding breakfast with tea and coffee for all your guests. A glass of house wine for all your guests during the wedding breakfast. A glass of sparkling wine for all guests during speeches. Complimentary Bridal suite on the night of the wedding.

All I can say is this venue is incredible. From the moment I stepped out of the wedding car to the time I went to bed nothing was too much trouble. Alan and his team work tirelessly to make sure everything was perfect.

Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?

We have has so many wonderful weddings that have all been so different. The beauty of our venue is smaller weddings don't feel lost and we have had several intermit weddings that had the most beautiful atmosphere. Equally when there are 150 people all up and dancing the energy is electric. "Best" is hard but I love it when the theme reflects the couples personality, we have had surfing themed weddings, weddings with an explosion of florals and weddings with fairy lights and candles everywhere.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

My top tip for anyone planning a wedding is to get menu choices to your guests as soon as you can as there will always be someone who takes ages to reply. I would also recommend creating a master spreadsheet for all the information coming back at you and storing this in the cloud so you can access it wherever you are should you need the information to hand.

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

I love how quickly our venue can feel like the couples personality has been stamped onto it. Very simple touches like brides favorite flowers or a personal favour to reflect the couples journey together make a big impact in our venue. One Bride brought a teddy bear with 'Daddy' embroidered on the foot this was a lovely touch for a sadly absent father. We have have lazer cut and 3D printed name cards which are a lovely touch that guests can take home as keepsakes.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?

Either on the green with the photographer looking down from a window, this makes a wonderful group shot. For couples the bar has a gorgeous ceiling that makes for a very dramatic shot. Our staircase also looks stunning particularly when wrapped in floral decorations and is a great spot for intermit couple photos

What’s your favourite canapé?

Mini Welsh Rarebit or the Black Pudding Sausage Rolls

What’s your favourite midnight treat?

Cheesey Chip Snack Boxes, it doesn't sound exciting but it is just what everyone is wanting at 11pm

What is your venue's most unique feature?

The fact we are a smaller venue and have all the accommodation on site is a real plus; with our packages at least 10 rooms are included within the package prices. We have some apartments that are very popular as spaces for the bridal party to stay the night before and get ready in which means that there is no need for the Bride to travel to the venue and can have the most enjoyable morning possible. We are also a small team and therefore really get to know you and your partner very well in the lead up to the big day. I (Ruth) am on hand the evening before and the morning of your wedding so should anything come up last minuet there is no need to panic I am on hand to fix anything that comes up so you don't need to worry about a thing, any small details you want taking care of I make sure I personally am responsible for these to ensure everything is done as we discussed.

What part of your business are you most proud of?

Our packages make the whole process very easy as everything is included. Due to us having a small team we also really get to know couples and it is always wonderful when couples return for their free nights stay on their one year anniversary.
