Monkton Barn

Monkton Barn is a well-established family-owned wedding venue located in the serene Buckinghamshire countryside. Surrounded by picturesque fields and woodlands, the venue features a charmingly converted barn and 10 acres of beautiful meadows and woodland. It's licensed for civil ceremonies both indoors and outdoors, including in the barn, marquee, meadow, and woodland dell. Couples also have the option to marry in nearby churches or registry offices. For outdoor ceremonies and parties, there's a private woodland space in the enchanting dell, providing a unique and natural setting for your wedding. Additional facilities at Monkton Barn include The Hen House, a bridal preparation room and we have The Tasting Room for private food tastings and Planning Parties. Food & Drink Monkton's Rustic Table offers a variety of delicious food and drinks prepared by Executive Chef James Knight and his team. Menus combine traditional and fine dining options, with different service styles available to suit each event. The venue also has its own brewery producing Barnstomer IPA, a popular real ale. Wedding Photography You have the option of working with Wendy Aldiss; Award-winning Professional Wedding Photographer and Co-owner of the venue. She knows all the best places to capture your day. Location We are privileged to be based in the stunning Chiltern Hills, just a few minutes' drive from the pretty riverside town of Marlow. London & Heathrow are just a 40 minute drive and both the M40 and M4 are easily accessed. We have ample parking for all your guests and cars can be left overnight.
