Features include; a charmingly converted barn with beautiful courtyard, bridal preparation room, private tasting room, and 10 acres of beautiful rolling grass meadow with outdoor bar, private pavilion and enchanted woodland. all licenced for civil ceremonies. Additional facilities offered at Monkton Barn Estate include - The Hen House or bridal preparation room - Private Tasting Room - Design Studio with PropShop barn full of decorative items and props. Fabulous Food & Drink with menus combining traditional and fine dining options, in a choice of service styles, with the option of lite Classical affordable familiar dishes and the option of our new celebration Grazing tables, for non-dining evening wedding receptions. Award Winning Wedding Photography Co-Owner of Monkton Barn Estate and multi-award-winning Professional Wedding Photographer Wendy Aldiss is offers discerning clients a comprehensive photographic service with with the benefit of knowing all the secret places for the best images. Countryside Location Conveniently located in the stunning Chiltern Hills, just a few minutes' drive from the pretty riverside town of Marlow. London & Heathrow are just a 40 minute drive - the M40 and M4 are a few minutes drive. Parking for over 50 cars - overnight parking available - of course.

Not only is the venue beautiful, but the staff are truly amazing. From the day we viewed the venue right through to our actual wedding we felt confident and happy that we would be able to have the wedding of our dreams. And that is exactly what happened. A special mention should go to Rob, Lauren, Estelle and Chef who all played a massive role in that happening. In all honesty I think we could have asked for a herd of unicorns on the Meadow and one of them would have provided it! Nothing was impossible and the team were all so accommodating. ALL our guests said it was the best wedding food they had ever eaten. The planning meetings were informal and fun, yet captured everything we wanted efficiently. It was also nice to meet Peter the owner who was lovely to us (especially as he had 40 Glampers in his back garden for the weekend!). Monkton Barn we really cannot thank you enough for everything you have done for us. They helped us to fully customise our day exactly to our requirements and we couldn’t be happier with how things went. Josh and Rob only added depth to our wondrous day. The setting was stunning. The food equally so. Children being wheeled about in a wheelbarrow as the sun set, and then a full moon, finished off a perfect day. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
A civil ceremony in the barn, then to the meadow for a village-fete styled reception with garden games, canapés and a saxophonist. This was followed by an Italian-themed marquee wedding breakfast. In the evening, a total of 140 guests returned to the meadow for a full-on festival themed party, including a big top marquee and staging for not just one, but 4 bands who performed over the course of the night! The event finished with fabulous fireworks, with many guests camping/glamping (including a hearty breakfast the following morning)! It was a truly brilliant and fun event to be part of.

A quail's egg blini with pancetta, truffle and chive. Just delicious.

Our delicious freshly made pizzas - always a welcome treat, especially after lots of dancing!

A gentle walk across our grassy Park to the woods for a romantic woodland wedding ceremony .
