MKII Full Description

MKII (previously known as The Old Dairy) used to house the cows that grazed on Hackney and Walthamstow Marches which are just up the road from the venue. This building is now used as an industrial warehouse event space and is ideal for those couples looking for something a bit different for their wedding reception. With a main hall perfect for decoration and numerous side rooms there is plenty of space for you to celebrate with your nearest and dearest. We are licensed for marriage ceremonies unlike most warehouse locations so can happily include this in the booking. MKII is available in 3 day bookings as standard, covering the day before and after your event or two days before. Our capacity is 110 people. Bright, versatile venue

We absolutely love delivering weddings at MKII! The space is bright and fresh and open, and completely versatile for couples looking for a more relaxed venue without too much red tape. The kitchen is large and spacious and well equipped for delivering both large and more intimate events. Charlie, Mark and the team are a complete joy to work with and always provide excellent communication both in the run up and on the day. Can’t wait to be back!

Perfect wedding venue!

My partner and I had our wedding reception at MKII in September. We really wanted an informal day with a relaxed meal and party with our family and friends, it was the perfect venue! We had the best time. It's a really big, beautiful and light space - the perfect blank canvas. Charlie and the team were super helpful and thoughtful throughout the planning and set-up as well as on the day. Really couldn't have asked for more, we've already recommended MKII to friends and colleagues who are planning events and weddings!

Incredible Unique Venue and Team

We held our wedding at MKII and the team (Charlie and Mark) could not have been more accommodating. The venue is large, bright and beautiful and the side rooms were really helpful for getting everything set up and for people to get ready in. The venue is a real blank canvas which let us decorate everything to our own tastes and design. It's a real hidden gem of a London wedding venue we can't recommend it enough! Our day was absolutely perfect thank you so much.

Sweet, intimate wedding

We found the venue online and it was even more beautiful in person! Charlie was incredibly helpful and speedy with his responses and answered all the questions we had, and having a wedding just after lockdown, we had many. The place is easily accessible, with parking around. The place itself was perfect! Our guests were amazed by the venue, and everyone loved how quaint and rustic it was. It was truly the most perfect day. Thank you so much to the team and most of all, Charlie for helping us celebrate our special day in the best way! Would recommend and hopefully go back again one day :)
