We knew we wanted to get married at Meols Hall when we found it on the Internet and the reality didn't disappoint in any way. Julia and Sue were kind, flexible and very efficient. We are not easily impressed, but we were. VERY. Because we live locally we were able to visit a few times to get a feel of the place and work out what would work best for us. Julia and Sue diplomatically guided us away from some unwise suggestions - ask their advice, they've done this before!! We got married at 3.30pm at the end of October with a candlelit Barn, had an informal afternoon tea, speeches at 6pm, evening guests at 7pm, first dance at 8pm and then a party with Carrington's bowl food! So no big wedding breakfast and therefore not the usual Meols Hall wedding day, but they coped with our eccentricity very cheerfully. :-) It all went exactly how we planned it and we've had some lovely feedback from our friends and family. It's a beautiful setting in mature parkland and yet 10 minutes from the middle of Southport. For us, perfect.
